Normally, Roles have no influence at all in Buzzerbeater, it was a failed experiment still lingering in BB.


Just out of curiosity, what was the experiment?

Any chance of them having an effect on the game down the road? Something like players who are Regular Starters are more consistent, while Key Players are more likely to put big numbers in a game?

Players who are key players are more likely to have poor GS since they have to play a ton of minutes each week to be classified as "key players". That's really all it's useful for.
