I have completed my scouting in preparation for the Season. The 12 guys on the team now will be the core of the team for the season. I have 6 more spots and I'm still deciding how to use those. I may give a few to some of the young prospects coming up and keep some so I can save any Big Man prospects that might be on a team going bot.
I want to share with everyone what I'm seeing for the future of our team. It's pretty worrisome and we need to take action to fix it now. When I look at our prospects age 22-25, there are 8 players with guard/SF skills that are currently 90 TSP or above and have potential and time to get to 120 or above. So we're in fairly good shape of for guards/SF.
On the other hand for bigs its not good. in the same 22-25 age group we have 4 prospects. they are Sup/PA level and owned by teams outside Japan. Current TSP is between 70-80 with a max potential between 100-110. So we are looking at a big fall off on our front line in about 5-6 seasons.
However, there are a few good prospects under 21 today. All but 1 are on Japanese teams now. Four of these guys are on U21 team. 2 owned by Swoosh who seems to be the master developer of Bigs. I have bookmarked all the guys who could be valuable to us and will notify everyone if I seem the posted on the transfer list. There is 1 guy owned by Jaygon (last logged on 3/20) and 1 guy owned by Saitama Kobatons (last logged on 3/28) that we need to watch. If their teams go bot we should try savings these prospects.
I will reach out to all the owners of these bigs and let them know we are interested in the being trained for NT. Yellowcake I will send you a list of the guys I found. Probably you are already aware of them.

If any of those young bigs go on the market, I can take one on. I have a spot open on my training group, with Torii/Tomioka being worked at the moment.

He's a bit over-priced, and not particularly good beyond the 3 primaries... but I put a bid on him. I don't think I'll go beyond that tho', should bidding break out.

Thanks, you saved me from having to bid on him. I already have three trainees running and he would have gotten a heavy dose of guard training for the first 3-4 seasons...... Now I don't have to make the tough decision for country this time. I do think my next round of trainees will be Japanese bigs though.

No probs. I said I'd help out on a good trainee, and despite where he's starting - he could end up pretty handy.
He'll be getting a heavy dose of guard training early on any way. Torii/Tomioka are my trainees, and they've had quite a bit of inside stuff already. My main guy's Torii - and he needs key guard skills to be higher!
All good tho'. I think that cost-wise it's most efficient to do secondaries first for either guards or bigs.
