I'd say some IS training can be very beneficial for your guard, as he'll be driving inside too, and without proper inside scoring his only option is to pass once he does so. If he doesn't have a good pass to make, he'll turn the ball over or take a bad shot. I'd figure if he at least had mediocre-respectable inside shot his options when driving will be better; most of the time he'll still look for the pass but he can make a decent shot if he can't find one.
