Suggestions:
Being too generic
Having no Americans in my starting lineup
Because I switched to the Shamrock background to finish the manager tutorial and see if anything special happened when you complete it (spoilers, there's not any reward)
Having a team that most experts would describe as "Okay, I guess"
Because you need some gas money to get your team home from their last game
Because D-4 sucks and I need to "git gud skrub"
The "not choosing to immediately build a massive arena the second I start my team" tax
Because if you don't fine me, somebody else will

Because you wanna see whether the game will round up or round down the 5-cent penalty I'd get for being in debt
