A youth team could be good just like how it works in hattrick.

Youth team would be really cool, a new way to make things interesting.

This is where we hold them!

Hattrick is a football simulation game similar to BB but the game was released in 1998 if i'm not mistaken.

Would a youth team flood too many young players in for larger nations vs smaller nations?

As I understand it, smaller nations make more money more quickly with less to do with, but there are less players via their draft due to less human teams etc.

It was. It's been overhauled several times since then, of course. A lot of the ideas for BB came from Hattrick (amusingly, I still kind of remember some of BB-Charles' rants about HT's "match engine", which thankfully he ensured that BB's was completely unlike). There was even an official partnership early on, so people on HT were shown adverts for BB, although I don't know how long that lasted.

I'm not sure how well the youth team idea would work here. I'm already kind of overstayed my available time right now so I'll leave it at that.

Maybe managers could be given a choice of having a youth team or joining the draft.

If anyone prefers to have a youth team, you can only promote a maximum of 3 players, just like the number you get from the draft, per season.

Just like HT, the youth team should have scouts to look for players with the amount of salary similar to how much you invest in the draft.

I'm just throwing some ideas, lol.

Perhaps the player can be under the age of 18 and always be allstar (48-51 tsp) or perennial allstar(41-44 tsp). You should be able to create your player face. The manager can choose his position and have the option to make one specific skill an 8 to start off the player. The manager can name his player but only from a list of names approved by the BB staff. Maybe there can be a waiver that when your created player gets transferred to another team then a special amount of money you will always get if the player does well. But only if he has been on his original team for 2 seasons.
