You're in Div III. I would expect Sensational Rebounding and no less imo.

Well, I guess I'm lucky that I'm not in D.III.

Because my SF has nowhere near 12 in rebounding :(

Then again, that didn't feel like a problem even in B3 :?

Each to their own I guess.

You're in Div I...me, Div III...

...maybe I should defer to your great wisdom

There are users in D.III who know a lot about this game.

And there are D.I managers who are still clueless about many things.

So that doesn't tell the whole story in itself.

But I sincerely believe that 12 rebounding on SF for a D.III is overdoing things. Bigtime. There are certain more important skills for a good SF, and you need to first take care of those before raising rebounding to sensational. When his OD and JS are 16+ and IS and ID at 14+, maybe it makes sense (depending on the rest of your team) to eventually raise rebounding to that level. As Bernspin pointed out, RB eats away a lot of potential too, so you need at least MVP to achieve this levels. But that is not what I would call SF for D.III...

Yeah, fair call.

Rebounding also adds a lot to the salary of the players. It is often wise to train this skill at the end of the training career.

In my case, my three SF trainees are at 9, 8 and 7 rebounding while having a TSP of 122, 115 and 117. I plan to raise their rebounding by 2 or 3 skill points this season. I expect a raise in salary from 33k, 27k and 34k to 40-45k which is quite a lot for 2-3 more skills if you ask me.

I'm liking the dialogue I'm seeing in this forum. It appears a lot of people have a different opinion. Here's what I know: my current SF with awful rebounding averages about 4 rebounds per game and my PF with marvelous rebounding averages about 14 rebounds per game. Either way, everyone seems to agree that strong rebounding is high enough, for now at least. So I'll probably move to inside defense. I'd like to be done with his inside skills by the end of this season. He currently has strong inside shot, strong rebounding, and prominent defense. I think I'll train inside defense until sensational then push up his inside shot a little bit.

Yeah I'm sure PF/C get more opportunities. My trainer can grab 7-10 rebounds when he plays center.

I had a SF many seasons ago when I went from Div III to Div II. He was averaging 10ish rebounds a game and he had Sensational RB. I stick by my 'personal' desire to have SF with min 12 RB.

That's my 2 cents worth.
