Unless you raise the quality of your subs, it could very well be that your starter will play more minutes on average.
And will likely have the same game rating despite more minutes because of what you explained with your numerical example.

Better stamina for a given number of minutes = better rating. Fewer minutes for a given amount of stamina = better rating (this is very easy to check)

Great, because I have just bought a fantastic 24 year old players for trainin, but his stamina is 1, while my teams stamina is 3-5 level.

So I should probably forget about training skills and focus on stamina for like, half of the season?

I am going to win the II. division this year, so next year i'll be in division 1..

edit: thank for all the other answers (other users) by the way, I aprecciate!

Yeah, i'm trying to do that for the past few seasons. 60-80 minutes every week.

I will do as you say, 4 weeks stamina, and then 1 week skill, 1 week stamina, until the allround stamina of my team is around 9.

Thanks mate, really appreciate it

By the way. does stamina "fall" in skill after the player goes +30 years old, or does it "fall" depending on minutes per game, or is it a combination of both?

It decreases weekly for all players. The higher the level of the skill the faster it decreases (ie it takes fewer weeks to go from 9 to 8 than from 2 to 1).

If I were you I would only train stamina in 'shorter' weeks, like ASG week (next week) or the final week (you only have 3 games if you play a Finals tiebreaker). Stamina and FT are not affected by age (or very little) while it becomes impossible to train other skills after a certain age. This is why people normally leave ST and FT last when training players.

What everybody said here above about higher stamina being good is true, however 3 or 4 ST is already a decent level where you don't have to worry about your player playing badly despite great skills.

Hi there again. Is level 9 the biggest level for stamina?
