I remembered the bit about the playoffs, but not the late cup rounds. It did catch me off-balance, although wouldn't have changed how I planned my week... is an archive of the news posts in the works?

It's certainly not a bad idea, and it may make it's way into the game in the future.

Well I'm quite happy to have made it so far into the tournament (even if I had to crunch it at times) and I'm not ashamed at all to have lost at this point.
A 12 pt loss against Evergreen Terraceists (without crunching I might add) is a very respectable exit in the quarterfinals of the national tournament.
Now I can concentrate a lot more on league games and the upcoming playoffs so beware II.1 !

Yeah, I'll never forget that you crunched me. One of these days I'll get my revenge. ;-)

Congrats on the win.

I was trying to go all the way, not to only win this game. You wanted it more, at least in settings

My enthusiasm was getting ready to face Torooo.

Good luck both in the final

And congrats to jbmcrock (I'm tired of typing out those umlauts) on advancing... I'm glad I didn't try too hard to win, because it would have been pointless.

Should be a fun final!

How is it that your centre was rated at 0 points per 100 shots? That's the first time I've ever seen that.

Glad to be in the finals, good game Abes. Home court will help, but obviously my chances are limited. Good luck Torooo, you get to play teams with Simpson based named in both finals.

It is because his centers didn't even attempt one shot during the whole game (both were 0-0).

good luck as well - quite impressive reaching the cup finals in your first year in the naismith division. am quite happy the enthusiasm was revamped, otherwise, would take my club weeks to recover from playing one final, much less two.

i will be playing for the honour of family guy this week ...
