This is the best in my mind:
Bleachers : 87.6%
Lower Tier : 10%
Courtside Seats : 2.3%
Luxury Boxes : 0.1%

I estimate the average of more than 30 Games with High Ticket Prices

I've currently got
Bleachers 84,2%
Lower 12,4%
Courtside 3,1%
Luxury 0,3%

The luxury boxes I nearly fill, everything else sold out last week, and the week before, so I'm adding more. Also the luxury boxes are the only element not already at maximum ticket price.

I don't play HT but I do play battrick, it's cricketing cousin. In that there is a 'formula' for the different seat types, but I don't think BB can have such a formula, because the different seating types react differently to win/loss and also to ticket prices. So there's more than one way to maximise income I think, dependent on pricing strategy and on-court performance.

I'm getting almost the same:
Bleachers 87,8%
Lower Tier 9,8%
Courtside Seats 2,3%
Luxury Boxes 0,1%
Total 100,0%

I have:

Bleachers 82.5% (FULL)
Lower Tier 14.0% (FULL)
Courtside Seats 3.3% (FULL)
Luxury Boxes 0,2% (max is 18 / 20 seats)

But the bleachers were the last in get filled, so i'm not sure if a higher % it's right (sorry any mistake in my english).
I'm thinking to expand my arena, but i don't know if i must increase my bleachers %.

What I like about BB is that it is not just about percentages of arena because there is another dimension, ticket prices.

I saw some people talking about HT but they have fixed ticket prices for each part of the stadium but here you can increase the prices instead of expanding the arena.

My personal opinion is to expand according to what you are selling and your desired ticket price. What I do is to set a fair ticket price, and then if I sell out, expand :) and when I check my percentages (with my current expansion going on)

86% bleachers
11% lower tier
2% courtside
less than 1% luxury

I will see if I continue to sell out lower tier and courtside.

I made a research how to build my arena properly. I was browsing the top DV teams from 15 countries and put the numbers of their arena. When calculating I found out that the average percentages for the arena were:

86,3
11,25
2,3
0,15

this may be just a guide

To get a good guess on this issue, I don't believe that people with full bleachers
for example can give an accurate %. Therefore there needs to be someone out there who doesn't fill each section of the stadium so that we can get a more accurate number to whats best.
eg: someone with
4111/5000 bleachers
978/1000 lower
178/300 courtside
14/30 luxury
would be more accurate than
5000/5000
1000/1000
178/300
14/30

Of course you can only use numbers from teams not selling out the seats in any of the categories if you are to get a precise insight on the formula, but then you would have to take the ticket prices into account to, which would make it almost impossible to figure out the formula (unless you have a very high data set). But that is probably one of the advantages of BB compared to HT.

If you take a look at the top divisions and see what percentages they have used you will of course not get an exact view of the formula, but you will get the experts guess, which can be very usefull - especially when you take the avergae as done by the user above. This method is very similar to the method used to meassure distances in many armies years back: All men in the group guessed the distances to the relevant point and then you took the median. As a matter of fact this was very accurate (note that it is the median, not the average).

Regards.
