I think that in Italy who can upgrade it don't want to upgrade it over 20k other manager can't upgrade it because they need to buy better players to stay in their leagues!!! I hope my english isn't too bad!!!

yes yes yes it's correct but also they don't see the opportunity...

if i think taht arena's size it's important i can also sacrifice one season bucause the next season wil be better for me

in Italy they can't upgrade becuase there isn't money and don't want because don't see advantage in this

if you don't understand me i can explain by bb-apple in italian che è meglio (that is better)DD

1 decent player = £2mil (conservative) 1 really decent player is £3.5mil

That is not the difference between a team staying up or going down.

Sell if you dont have the cash buy a replacement and 1.5mil gets you 5,000 bleachers and plenty enough other seats... that gives you about $50k a week minimum more + the saving on salary of player so conservatvely thats $800k in season 1 alone.

Please - Cant??? It can only be Won't

ok but I don't think that an arena with 30k seats give more advandages then a 16-20k seats in Italy!!! Nobody can win all matches to load all seats!!!

won't!?!?!?!?

an example (this is an hp)!!!

I've have 2mil!!! I'm 5th in my league (III) and I have a c and a pf (their value is 500k)!!!
You prefere to sell them and buy new c and pv with 1,5 mil value (and stay in this league) or upgrade arena?

Wow that's quite some excessive use of the !!! and ???. I believe one is enough.

I think you should focus at the long term more than the short term. If you buy that player now, it will be harder for you to earn money to improve your squad in the future. It might be better to relegate from the league and improve your arena, so that you can generate more income thus buy (and pay) better players.
1 step down means 3 steps forward.

I think that attendance (and arena profit) is highly related to the number of season ticket holder...! how you'll generate more income if your season ticket holder decrease and you don't load new arena?

Again you're looking at the short term instead of the long term. If you arena is sold out now, that means you could generate more revenue, but you can't because it's too small.
You might expand the arena, relegate, earn a little less 1 season and then promote back to the II to earn way more than you did this season. This saves you the costs of the salary of your expensive player as well, which would make up for the slightly less income I guess.

what about in Italy?

in italy i had 10,000 when i was playing in IV
believe me or not i was one of the first 10 italians to expand to 10k. the top divisions managers surely didn't see the potential benefit of expanding the arena back in the day (the common word was "let's just max the prices and buy better players")
surely taxes caught many by surprise, preventing further expansion, but i think some small sacrifice in terms of short period results could have been affordable

PS this is only my opinion, i have no basis to judge'em wrong because i'm not playing at their level of competition and they surely had their good reasons to behave differently
