I haven't seen much of a debate here. Candidates, ask each other questions. Let's start a debate here people.

Like you say, I think Paulo did a great job. I was waiting to see if he was going to run to determine if I ran too. Now that he is running, he's got my vote and I won't run this time.

Best of luck to all the candidates

Thanks for the vote harfang.

I would like to ask the other candidates what they feel they can bring to the manager position that I can't or haven't? What weaknesses have I displayed in the previous 2 seasons that they feel they don't have or won't have?

The National Team's of Canada, whether it is in Buzzerbeater, or the other online games, will struggle because of our numbers. The more people we can get to play, the better we will do. This means more people drafting and training Canadian players therefore improving our talent pool.

Does Paulo deserve another chance to run the team? The voters will decide.

My response to this is that he didn't do bad enough not to warrant a second term. But the question is did he do enough to deserve a second term? That is what the voters will have to decide.

Good luck!

I like the comment.

I would like to ask what others think about this? I posed a couple of questions a few days ago towards the other candidates, but there was no response....

Have I done enough? Nobody has stepped forward stating what they would like to see me do in addition to what I have been doing and to what else they would like to be seen done.

In response to this question that you have posed:

Improved communication. Do I feel slighted the Poudrier was dropped from the U21 team? Hmmm. Not really. Were there better options? Yes - at the time there were better options. But, when a player is chosen and then dropped without reason - then I have questions because of lack of communication.

Therefore, you need to communicate to the teams who are training your U21 players and what is expected to improve their player for the NT, or at the very least, let the trainer of the player know why a change has taken place.

Improved communication.

I don't see any proof that you would do better. I have never seen any posts from you on the forums until now. I didn't see you volunteer to help with scouting or anything else for that matter.

My suggestion is that if you want to be the NT or U21 manager, get more involved with the community first. I'm not going to vote for you if you only show up at election time. But that's just me, maybe others will have different opinions.

- This may be a question to ask Paulo.

I have never seen any posts from you on the forums until now.

- I rarely post on forums, but do read them quite often. Whether it is Hattrick, Battrick or Buzzerbeater, I look at the forums put choose not to participate. My campaign runs during the election hours...not during the rest of the season when the proverbial "Bench Jockeys" are telling our NT managers how they would run the ship.

I didn't see you volunteer to help with scouting or anything else for that matter.

- Another question to ask Paulo. I would prefer not to post BB mail correspondence as proof, but will if need be to prove the scouting portion.

My suggestion is that if you want to be the NT or U21 manager, get more involved with the community first.

- Again, if the way to win the election is to run an "unofficial campaign" through the rest of the season by posting on the forums...it won't happen from this side.

I'm not going to vote for you if you only show up at election time.
- Your choice.

But that's just me, maybe others will have different opinions.
