Only real advantage is that you can test different tactics and the strength of your team without the consequences of losing a match. Could also be a fun challenge with your friends.

I would like to know if you can play with a poor passer in R & G tactic. A bit hard for my opponents to figure out that my PG is a poor passer because of that So I think that you can test how some things works but not necessarily let others know about your players strengths.

As your training is based on playing time I can't use my best players in scrimmages and try tactics as is possible in private matches. This is also my main reason to play private league matches.
