None of these words ever change meaning, regardless of context. The business uses of culture change and par for the course are both the exact same as the sports uses. The word you should have looked up on Wikipedia is "idiom".

Does anyone else in America read Wolph's posts aloud to the world and get overly dramatic every time he slips in a randomly capitalized word? I pretend to be William Shatner when reading his posts. I may pretend to be Samuel Jackson next week. Joe Pesci would be fun as well.
