Long term plans : dont have any.. RL has settled down somewhat last few weeks, but news today means it is gonna go crazy! sick family member was able to look after himself somewhat, but has now been advised his doctors have reported him to Vicroads as being unfit to drive, so his reliance on us again cranks up a gear! until this situation is resolved, i will float between div 3 and 4.. i will be dumbfounded if i cant beat a bunch of bots :P

first week in div 4 was bad :D with my expensive 150k roster i lost 9k for the week. with my 100k player now sold, i am looking to make about 90kthis week, hopefully more with 2 wins in a row! cup is not a focus, if i lose rnd 1, so be it :D

as for money.. i have just shy of $4,000,000 now.. so assuming things stay status quo, would expect to be around 5.5m by end of season.

no plans to sign anyone.. no plans to sell anyone!

Player Salaries: $ 51 924 Attendance: $ 102 989
Staff Salaries: $ 28 006 Merchandise: $ 14 949
Scouting: $ 20 000 TV Contract: $ 64 906
Total: $ 99 930 Total: $ 182 844
Typical Weekly Net Income: $ 82 914

Total Skyhook Dreamers cash reserves: $ 3 840 447

attendance is smacked cause of relegation bonus, but hopefully a few wins in a row and once get through half way point of season will pick up!

glad to be in div 4... hated the div 3 i was in last season, and know i always have a home here so not to worried about being alone :D means i can just focus on training, and deal with the RL shit as it escalates!

Glad to hear RL settled down somewhat.
Tell your relative that taxi's exist for this exact purpose.... or... do what you're doing which is the nice family thing.
:P
Hopefully it doesn't go on too long.

If you can't beat a bunch of bots, I'll lose hope in you and maybe even BB. :P

Your finances are looking good mate.
I have a lot more money than you in the bank, but as I only had 51% attendance first week I am bleeding money. I expect to make it back with 1 round of cup winnage, but maybe not. Who knows.
and yeah hopefully once the season stabalises i can win more games and get my attendance back up. :)

I was considering dropping to Div4 just to go back and get the CHAMP trophy that I didn't get the first time.
:(
But not sure I can sell the players I would have to to get down to salary floor, I'm a bit attached. :)

well, as luck would have it! got caught up with bro in law stuff and forgot to set a lineup tonite! so not only will i lose but stuff my training up!

that is also part of my motivation ranga.. get that div 4 trophy! even bains has 1.. took him like 12 seasons, but he still has 1... :P

the RL situation will get a hellofa lot worse b4 it gets better... it is 1 of those terminal situations, and i expect when it all happens i will mostly disappear again.. i have enjoyed the brief chance to get back into it tho :D

Hey folks of III.12 :)
So I promoted into III.8
It's super boring here.

Good news is, without buying anything I'm almost guaranteed to be 4 - 0 after this week.
The other good news is, I'm like to finish top of my conference without really trying too hard.
Definitely wont be promoting as CARLTON SUNS are nicely balanced and the Flaming Ramzays are super strong at C/SG

I wish I could have promoted into III.12 to make things socially interesting, but noone is alive where I am. :(

Good luck to everyone. :)

hahahah true that!
It's hell to get out of unless you want to go straight down... where the water is very... hard to drink!

good work to Kingarthur though, must be nice to promote to a league where you are a shoe-in to finish top 1-4, looks like you'll finish first for the blue side tho.
Dude you should join the Wombat federation, you have supporter and some good trainees.

Soon tanking out will be harder than winning this league

Nah, probably a bad comment. Just that we keep getting the bouncing Div 2 teams - Mango, Vis and now you. Which takes deep pockets to promote against. We might have a mass tank on our hands or is it just me contemplating that? I'd hate repromoting from D4 back to III.12 though

Ah ok. Mass tank works in some ways. I can just see loads of teams around "saving up". I'm not sure if I like that the game promotes that too much. In reality, too many seasons of "saving up" will actually put the team out of pocket.

From my observation, I don't think there is too many more teams tanking or saving up, a whole bunch of teams on the red side were doing it all of last season, and a few before that. I think we might just have a few on the blue joining them this season, this has created a bit of a lull.

Maybe everyone will save and then make a decision after the All-Star game to either invest in and draft high or buy up and compete.

I think on the most part, most of the teams don't have a definitive strategy for the season that they are hard at executing... am I wrong?

A few teams lately have promoted on the back of some dosh and a bought team, I don't think the majority of their teams were balanced enough to compete in Div II, certainly without a 20 000 seat stadium minimum, you would struggle to payroll even a team to hold 4th or 5th, less, contend.
