Is it also possible to lower the salary or skills required to trigger the ads for prospect-aged players? These days with the salary formula decreased and decrease in user base, you could have a 1.5k draftee trained to be a U21 player easily.

Blank works for lots of reasons this is one of them.

There is still a ton of choices to make including tactics, GDP and players who should play. Since the sim is not all that realistic and does not allow adjustments using a blank is the opposite of what you described, it actually allows the coach some freedom. BB is a manager game and when the manager meddles with the line up it can turn out really poorly, as we all saw today.

Btw. Why are you not coaching in Canada? England and now the Philippines, what did we do wrong?

You tell me how it would put either of those players back in the game.
Canada as I'm sure you are aware has limited talent this season.
The best replacements ended up playing anyways.
We lost because of those injuries not because he played without blank lineup.

Its simple. In set line up, substitutions are preset and they dont take into account exhaustion, etc. Thats why you have starting lineup play similar minutes. In blank, once a player becomes winded and ineffective, he gets subbed out and then comes back on when one of the players on court becomes less effective than player on the bench would be. This is simple, and I believe only way to maximize the resources available to a team. ANY game that is that close with set lineup used would be won fairly comfortably with blank. Just look at the game with Chile....... Team ratings look much better than during games before and after it. If you dont want to take my word for it or beanerz'.....just email any manager that had significant success in this game and you will hear exactly the same thing.

Why would you have any reason that we want anything but the best for Canadian U21 team and want to give advice that actually works?

Other than some have shown some significant personal bias in their previous comments, nothing really.
Everything you wrote here makes sense.

Imagine I was the NT Coach.
IO wouldn't want Stavridis playing at Center or not playing at
all because that is the reason blank lineups don't work.
So as Morwood said, we shouldn't have coaches if we use blank lineups.
