oncerning Arvin Put:

i had seen him but i wasn't intending on buying him. he doesn't fit in for my team nor my plans. Jacoby was a consideration but again i would have to deviate to much from my training which should give me a good Belgian PG, allong with a very strong SF (i would dare to say that if things go right he'll be better than Backaert)

since so many others are after the Belgian players, i'm going to try and compete while training foreign players. heck 3M for Put is just totally nutz.

that said, if Put fitted in perfectly for my training, i would probably have splashed 3.5M for him too. i just hope Polle won't regret it like i have with Marichal.

Az~

@AZ : what's wrong with Marichal ? He's a fine player, unfortunately his JS is a little too high, but all in all he's great. and you sold him for 3 M back then which was great if I reacll correctly ...

About Crauwels : Joe is right, he's NT material. He has been regularly on sale this season for over 5 M, so I never bothered linking him so far, but 3 M is becoming more in line. Anyway he still requires a good amount of training, I doubt he would be ready before his 29.

Yes, it's a good player AND he's Belgian, BUT i find the price really excessive relative to his qualities and age.
Furthermore, the owner only paid 850k for him, so he hits a home run when selling him for that price.
For a lower price i would be interested, but at this price i'm not.
Because i always have managed my team in a healthy financial way, and won't give that much money to this player all of a sudden. I'm not the kind of manager to pay crazy prices...

And i don't think anyone will pay that amount for him, but that remains to be seen of course... only my opinion

I'll pass on this one, and as I stated before, he has been regularly put on the TL for unrealistic amount, so maybe it is wise to let the price drop a little more.

i agree. but i spent 2.4M to acquire him so i didn't win a lot and i demoted on purpose to train him out of position on the C to get his secundairy skills to that lvl. So even tho i got a nice amount of cash for it, he wasn't worth that investment on the long run. atleast not for my team.... He's a great player, one of our few guards who can play regardless of the tactic. But the investment i made to get him to that point only to sell him because i ended 8th despite having 10 wins that season was really painfull.

Their is GM info regarding that team. i can't dive into specifics but even the GM's are waiting for him to sell that player. Especially Bradok will be happy to know that GM's are keeping an eye on him after his past experiences with that same manager.

And Crauwels is NT material. But it would take a while and i doubt a BBBL team could make that kinda of investment without seriously having a good team around him. otherwise he could easely cost a demotion for a team...
