he has found those guys, he's getting a lot of assists too, and they arent scoring off all his passes, that's why he's forced to shoot, whether or not it's a good look or not.
Most of his (missed) shots have actually been in the last 5 seconds of the shot clock when no one was really finding an open look or he was just riding out the clock, so he's had poor looks at he basket where he's just tossing the ball up.
I'm not a LeBron or a Cavs fan, neither am I a Golden state fan, I do love Steph Curry though, but Curry does have guys around him who CAN score if they get a hot hand.
JR can do it, but he hasn't. Thompson isnt a reliable guy to consistently score, he's a bit slow in the paint, except when it comes to rebounds, we all know how good he is on the boards. Delly also cannot consistently knock down a shot, whether he's open or not. He never looks comfortable when shooting.
So what I'm saying is, yes, his shooting % has been terrible, but he's being forced to take bad shots because of the situation he's in. He's averaging close to a triple double every game. Let's face it, whenever Lebron hasnt been on the court, however briefly that was throughout those 1st 5 games, Cavs look lost. The series would be over without him, because no on else can create offense. I think the biggest factors here were the 2 overtimes, and that 4th quarter in game 3 i think, when Curry got hot and golden state finally clicked. They havent looked back since, that 4th quarter, they BUILT on that performance despite losing game 3.
Must admit Igoudala's been doing a good job on LeBron too though. The fact that this guy can do a good job guarding lebron single handedly helps out Golden state and kills lLeBron's numbers as well. If Iggy isnt in and they double team LeBron, Cavs can get more open looks, because there'd be a guy missing from the rest of the play as they guard LeBron.
and again, I do think Cavs will find a way to win tonight =) game 7 is the real question where you've got to ask if they can do it.
