I always wonder how they can have same "Star Rating":

Player A: Scored 3 points, 3 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 4 TOs, 2 Steals and 1 Block
Player B: Scored 27 points, 7 Rebounds, 8 Assists, 4 TOs, 1 Block and 2 Fouls

Both have "3 balls" in Star Rating. Based on the above stats, can we predict who has better potential? Can someone interpret the meaning behind (I mean how come both have "3 balls" in Star Rating).

Surely, if one-game stats tell everything, Player B should be a better player and should have better Star Rating, right?

they're not everything. But they're not nothing

I like to focus on a few simple things. No assists will mean low passing, no ft or a lot of missed free throws will mean low FT, and most important of all, avoid guys with more than 3-4 fouls. that much you can get out of the one-game stat sheet

I'm astonished... i had 2 4ball pot and 1 3ball listed, all 5ball A-,A value... and i got the 3 smurfs u see i'm now selling.

I had high hopes for the draft with two guys having 5 potential and 5 stars rating at the top of my list. I got one of them, but his TSP is merely 40, with 3 skills at atrocious. Isn't it a bug (the guy had 5 stars...)? If not, then this was probably my last season with any investment in draft (around 60 draft points spent).

Star rating is based on salary. If he is a PG and has 7 PA, 7 HA, his salary will be high, even though his other skills are bad. It can be misleading sometimes, but what can you do? We put the best candidate at top of the list, and hope for the best.

He does not have a single skill equal to 7 (6 is max) and his salary is only $ 2 385. In fact his grade rating was A- so maybe this is an explanation for low salary and skills
