Dont know where to post this but Gerry Haydock (20574136) who is a member of the illustrious Hall of Fame at Hopelessly Addicted who as a 30yo was acquired by the team for only 5K and whom 3 seasons later left the team at the age of 33, for a transfer price of 208K is now on the market as a 37 yo.

Having had substantial skill drops, the TPE for him is now 300 to 350K.

Lol as a 40 yo he might be worth a million.

Market is crazy

Prices haven't reached a peak yet, still climbing. Don't know when this inflation will come to an end...

It's definitely affected the strategy of buying up for a quick win.

Especially at a Div 1 level.

Gone for the moment are the days where you could acquire a beast for 5K.

For myself to now to get a player who is solid enough to be competitive coming off the bench and or who occassionally starts, im looking at 3 mill up

I reckon 3 mil would only get you a very average player or a super oldie....

Or perhaps just a very average super oldie. 8}

Congrats to Bryce who is now ranked at 15 in the world.

Almost inconceivable that he wont win the double this season

Hey Jay, we meet again. Quick questions:

1) What's Cicvaric's stats? Feel free to PM me.
2) Should I rest Dwight, given he's already played 71 this week, or should I bother to wheel him out against you?
3) Do you feel very lucky to have drawn me at this stage of the Cup two seasons in a row, when both times you'd have given up HCA?

I have no problem with sharing where Cicvaric is at skills wise:

Jump Shot: colossal Jump Range: wondrous
Outside Def.: legendary Handling: stupendous
Driving: stupendous Passing: wondrous
Inside Shot: prominent Inside Def.: prominent
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: proficient

Experience: proficient TSP: 130 (101 + 29)

Rest Dwight Catic if you believe you can go on to win the II.1 championship, otherwise bring it on.

I do feel lucky to have even made it to the quarter-finals of the Russian Roulette tournament again. It's all too easy to draw a top team away and/or a try-hard cruncher and lose the chance to play in the neutral stage of the cup. Dodging the other ABBL teams is a bonus.
