It should be close. It will depend on GS I think. I won't have my trainees in at PG, that's for sure.

I thought I might lose the Semis with lower Effort, trainee at PG and 2 GDP against, but Patient was not a great choice at all for Jerusalem Sonics. I'm fairly positive Toursounidis has the highest TSP in this league (although he was the lowest of my previous 3 trainees), playing Patient with the shooter against him is a bit unfortunate at this level, unless you have an elite shooter by higher leagues standards. In fact, I have nobody on my D1 team who would be capable of scoring efficiently on him.

Last year Jerusalem Sonic played patient in the semi final against me. And the chosen player was Justin Brand. I don't know if it's only on skills or if GS has a role on choosing who will be the offensive choice. Cortez must have been trained considering his salary and his DMI.

Anyway i expect a tough game on saturday. Do not forget to plan ahead the game might be early

Dukic has elite ID and solid OD...so yeah, he had pretty much the worst possible matchups on his best players.

I haven't updated the stardard lineup since 2 or 3 seasons ago and I only have Tursounidis left from that time :).

Nice game today Lemon.
Now let's see if I can set up the all English final...I'm considering managing minutes and not playing my best 5 vs Groa today, but that's a risky game. Don't think my team matches that well against yours. I've got depth, but that doesn't often matter in one off games in BB.
(I'm sure Toursounidis might have the highest TSP as well, you've shown me him before but I can't remember exactly. My highest has 116 anyway)

Good game mate, I hoped for no prediction because I knew I could lose with a correct one. I can rotate Tactics or take 1 GDP from anyone else I think. I also had a pretty decent GS update except for the guard, which helped.

In any case it looks like you have the 3rd or 4th best record among conference winners, so you are the only one who's sure to promote here :D. Perpete has the best record in D3...

Yes I saw that and beleive that i might promote with the new system. But i learnt a lesson tonight there is still a difference between people who use to play in DI and people who use to navigate bewteen D2 and D3.

This is an ongoing lesson that i need to learn from for my main team if I want to promote in a short term to D1.

I have now to decide how i want to play next season with my utopian team

I very much doubt that. I do think I have the better team, although by a small margin and I'm training still fairly young guys which is a drag (and together with injuries the reason I gave up halfway through last season). My team still have many players from the team which came quite close to promoting to Utopia Heaven 3 seasons ago (the 2 best players are gone but my new guard who replaced one of them is pretty good).

See here:(98268547)

Dukic was there, Sandor was there and Tursounidis also was a starter on that team. Zubillaga was significantly worse than my current PG/SG and only started that tiebreaker because of poor GS on Toursounidis. The other 2 starters were my other 2 trainees and my best players.

I think D1 is the same as any other level, although the skills to focus on are maybe slightly different. In D1 you will need rebounding for example because FG% are generally lower, while you can probably do well with not so great rebounding in lower divisions if you have defense or shooting instead.

Thanks for sharing and the game study since then you lost two 80k playmakers...cannot imagine their TSPs.

Thanks for the advice on rebounding in D1. It makes sense.

You may want to ask Bergkamp instead ;): I never really made an effort to win as I've always been training with every team I've had, but Bergkamp won the Cup last season and has a good chance of winning both the Cup and the EBBL this season.

The other 2 players had 133 and 127 TSP (this one had a great balance of skills and is an excellent salary controlled guard)
