Outside Shooting vs Outside Defence; outcome in 3pt%:
11 vs 11-, around 45%
12+ vs 4+; around 40%

Outside tactics don't seem to be keen on understanding the concept of overkill, or you had a bad luck, I guess.

Probably more when every opponent is playing 3-2 zone against you every game, guessing outside offense, and having a higher outside defensive rating than your outside offensive rating.

Except that's as often than not, the defense ratings aren't better. These matches all have higher team outside shooting than the opposing team od:
(100864737) (of course, here we shoot 11-24 from 3 and 14-69 from two).

(100864745) higher offense by one sublevel. We shoot 11-31 from 3, 9 for 62 from 2!

Plus the match below has equal offense to defense:
(100864696)

If outside offense is even remotely to have a chance games like the 9 for 62 from inside the arc need to at least have the shot distribution adjust. But all outside offense is, unfortunately, is the same offense everyone else runs, with a slight bonus to 3fg% and no benefit to reboundng and apparently very little opportunity to be fouled.

And just to carry on the theme, sensational outside shooting vs. a strong outside defense, man to man, no GDP, normal pace offense from me and fast from my opponent, still an't break 80 points: (100864769)

I'm not so expert of this game , but can someone give me a tip of the reasons of this defeat?

I see that his attitude was "crunch game" against my "take it easy" but can't believe that this made so much difference.

I think mediocre flow/passing has to come into account here as well.
Probably not enough open looks for the outside shots to go down.
I agree 78 is still damn low. You even had really good shot distribution by position.
More shots contested with poor-ish defense should have gone in.
