I paid 900k for him, i might not get that much but i hope i get 600k+

One of the players who I would quite like to have in my team, however being in Div 2 this is not currently viable

Dear Yoda,

Cant ever recall having a swing at you in the forums before, but dissapointed that you have sacked Harvey Jurd (22003741).

You got him for 400K which was a steal and he unfortunately copped a 3 week injury whilst playing for you.

Yes you would have probably received less for him than a weeks salary if you had of listed him for a $1, but now he has been "retired" he has been listed for a mill and despite being only 28yo, extremely well balanced and not that far short of playing for Australia, he will probably be lost to the game.

Sad to see Deon Isaak former Aussie National Team player (14844968) also up for sale at a million dollers as a retired player.

Whompa how about buying Rudolph Foster (19608343) and give him some passing training with Anderson?

With a few pops in passing hed be close to the Aussie team and just might make you some dollars

Also notice Conner Carson (16763273) up for sale for only 150K

Jurd wasn't much chop really.

Maybe don't mention Anderson either as he is resting for a few weeks. He has an imbalance of the hips due to his full wallet he carries in his right back pocket. Apparently he has asked for his next three weeks pay to be inserted in his left back pocket then he will return to playing.

No way you could carry both and sit on the floor?

What about VIOS getting Foster and training him on passing?

That is fine and I understand your sentiment. I don't think he ever had any chance to make the NT trained the way he was. Too many primaries and too low in the secondaries. Naturally if there is a rash of top Aussie big men all getting retired at the same time things may change. The cost to me was not trivial. He already cost me $400,000 to buy and with a three week injury it could be five weeks before he is useful again which is another $1,000,000 down the drain as well as meaning I have to get hold of a rental while I wait for him to come back. Jurd fouled out early in one game having played horribly going 0/4 from the field and then got the massive injury in his second game. Sometimes you can just feel that a player isn't a good fit for your team.

Sad to see my first ever trainee get retired at the ripe old age of 28 :(

I'd buy him back if they didn't add that silly minimum world ranking rule.
Total cash reserves: $ 3 157 447

I could definitely afford him..

Its only a game, and given that you paid 400K for him, I guess this gives you the right to do with him as you please, but he was only 28 and was a lot better than the typical monoskilled 33 year old who routinely gets sacked

You are one of the best people in the Aussie bb community and I cant ever remember being critical of your actions before

I hope if a similar situation arises again that you would be good enough to list the player for a $1, rather than effectively removing him from the Aussie BB community

Even with his 3 week injury I doubt that you would have lost much by listing him for the $1

Tremendous Jump Shot and sensational handling & driving, he didnt have bad secondaries

Even listing him at $1k he wouldn't have covered tonight's $188k salary update.

Yes and that of course is why Yoda sacked him

That said I reckon he still would have sold for a 100K, hence Yoda would have only lost 88 K or so
