While this is undoubtedly true, it is irrelevant. It is not the total number of rebounds in a game but the rebound matchups. Just as I want my big men to get the majority of rebounds they fight for, I want my guards to get the majority of the rebound opportunities that come their way. In your 11 games this season the SG position has had an average of 11.3 rebound opportunities a game. If your SG is pitiful and mine is respectable, I have to believe I'm gonna get the majority of those boards, giving my team an advantage in that area.
Anyway, I don't know how the GE works exactly. I make almost all of my decisions in this game based on the 35+ years experience I have playing, coaching, and being a fan of the real game. I'm not saying you are wrong, just that I have a different opinion.
