I picked this guy up for $100000. I am training C's all season because of this guy. HE has already had a pop in inside shot. The team he recently was on gave his minutes. 7'3,almost 7k starting salary, but he started at age 19. He has great defense 18.0 rebs so far,14.7 pts per game. 60% shooting. I am going to start him to get him as much minutes as possible. What's the best:Let Coach Decide , Coach decide , Strictly Follow Depth Chart , or Depth Chart until 4th. I have a level 4 trainer. He will most likely start the season. I Let my other C play both back up positions. I dont know if thats good but, should he play Reserve? I will train IS until a week after the allstar break, REB until the last game. I f we have to train blocking i will train blocking until the allstar break next season. I'm not so sure he will make the team because he has allstar potential and started at age 19. SHould i train JS? i will train Stamina After the allstar break next seaosn and during the playoffs this season. Good luck to all of the other prospects and teams!

I'm not trying to be negative about your prospect, but there is zero to no chance he will make the U21 or NT team. He can still become a very good player for you team, but his skills are not good enough when at the age of 19. Also, allstar potential for a center will lead to him capping around the age of 21/22. The USA just has too many good prospects out there with HOF/MVP potential.

Regarding training:
To get your player 48 minutes you must set your trainee as STARTER BACKUP and RESERVE.
You must also have only 9 players dressed for the game and set 1 at starter and the other at backup.
Select Strictly Follow Depth Chart and if in foul trouble Let Them Play.

(Tangosz taught me this and it works)

Ok thanks. I will play him as starter. I was going to let him start and my Other center play backup and reserve. i can get him about 20-30 mins a game. I guess The other Center will play scrimmages. I probably knew his potential wouldnt let him make the team. THANKS!

Not my player. But Looks good. The owner is training him all season. I messaged him he has the stuff. He has no gaps ( I think) In that message he said they were good.

is he just training JR?

Otherwise all that time at SG is surely being wasted. I guess 2 pos JS/DR but still. Message him he should be training 1 position OD/PS/HD at PG IS at C for the next 2 seasons if he doesnt care about GS or solid contribution. ;)

That's only because when I try to update Anthony Lucas in the database it says, "American player (PG Anthony Lucas, $4979, current salary estimate $6467) does not reach salary/potential criteria" so I can't update him. He's 8/8/7/8/6/9 with 8 IS as an added bonus, so he's still coming along nicely even if the database won't accept him, which is slightly frustrating though.

The exact criteria are a bit wonky, and don't always catch all of the possible 18 year old prospects. It's a bit more robust for the 19 year olds.

However, as a scout, I added Lucas to the database, so the next time you log in you should be able to see his skills update, and how he stacks up to other US players. You'll be happy to know there's a new PG and SG sheriff in 18 year old USA town.

Nice looking player UltimateChamp.

Thanks. Well a fair amount of people haven't updated in a while, but still I can get a better sense of where Lucas stands compared to his fellow rookies. It probably won't change my training plans at all, since I have pretty definite ideas of what I want to do with him and Conanan, but it's nice to see. I appreciate your adding him manually.
