Ow well, if there was anything like a MVP for the ASg game, i reckon it would be a consolationprize for missing out on the 3pt shooting contest. Guy with the worst GS won it in the end. Talk about a serious dissapointment. A guy who isn't in optimal shape beats all others who are in better shape.

Big 8 beat Great 8 pretty well, tho the stand-out preformance was Coeck in Q1 who made 22 points in 1Q (and then for inexplanable reasons, Great 8 team decided to start shooting 3pters...)

it was a good distraction, tho i can't wait for the next league game. Beerschot Bears sold another player and i'm pretty sure they are winning cash. i take it he did it to make some more money to get 2 players for the PO's. i just hope his plan doesn't backfire on him, with C4C close to taking that final 4th spot...

Either way, BB of C4C, it's not gonna be a present for the team ending first in our conference. They are bound to add atleast 1, probably 2 players to there squads, which could eliminate there current weaknesses...

It's either that or BB has decided to unload and pass on the PO's this season. Outsider would be Boubous Warriors. She's made the best of the interconference games and is catching up on C4C and BB.

Nice Tournament game yesterday against Wabeke. Even if I was almost always 20pts behind.
I had a (very) small hope during the 4th QT where I was only 9pts away but too late...
Tactical choices were quite similar, each one wanted to anticipate his opponent move and finally we had almost exactly the same choices.
But the crowd at Wabeke arena was on fire and behind their team
Good luck for next round!

i'm surprized to see Wabeke still in the cup. but it means they aren't focused on the league, so that doesn't matter to much for me.

i'm equally surprized that Falco is still in the cup. He sold off a C recently and hasn't got much depth anymore. With the games getting more important in the league, i wonder if he'll drop the cup or keep going... the biggest advantage about being in the cup: you don't need to look for a scrimmage!

Pffff...what a useless win...
I suceed to beat Angels and what we got behind? BB beats Falco and C4C get a free win and Boubous won by 1pts...
Damn it!
Of course, I'm happy with the win agaisnt Angels (I'm not sure he really wanted to win this match against me, with a loss, it would have been much more difficult to stay in the PO position.

i had forseen the loss of Falco. his GS was horrible, so he had to cut his losses hoping to get his GS back up or he would be losing more games.

What i find really annoying, is the forfait. there was no reason to forfait that game. C3C now gets minutes on players that trash there season averages, trash there chances for getting a MVP trophee and screws up his minutes for the week while screwing over his point differential. I find that forfait extremely lowly. i forfaited once a game, but atleast i had the decency to give my opponent a heads up about it so that he didn't play any starters and thus didn't see any of his players being screwed over for the MVP trophy.

truth be told, Seb, C4C would have beaten Vleesklak by 40 or 50 points. Thus all things considered, i'd be happy if i were you. you made up ground on both leaders, I'll be happy to see Bari returning next week :D i'm pleased with my record so far. i'm expecting TBS to defeat SKW again, HCA is gonna be decided by each and every game. should be fun till the end

i don't understand Falco atm. He's just sold Dorado a couple of weeks ago, so he should be fine in terms of finances. Why sell of other core players now?

it's common sense that you can't hope to improve your squad by selling off older players and then buying younger ( better ones), so the moves don't make sence. If it's to unload his team and save more cash for a big splash just prior to the PO's, it doesn't make sence either. Prices just before the deadline are higher than ever, even for the older players. + Falco wouldn't benefit from the new rules making tanking very unsuccesfull in the BBBL while buying even older players, just to win these PO's.

So either, Falco has decided to use the PO's to sell his players at a higher price and will wait to buy younger players later on. Or he's taking a huge risk to land better players, while having a weaker team, meaning he's more prone to lose some games even against the lower ranked teams and thus lose a costly game for the HCA while hoping he can find the deals to get better players just before the PO's ( who will be older and he'll be purchasing them for a higher price than they normally would be worth).

Should be interesting to see how this will turn out. I wouldn't mind him getting younger players to train them, would make things easier for me this PO's and i somehow don't see Falco making that move... (if he would, he'd be trying to sell his other old starters. the fact that he hasn't put them up, means that he still intends on being competitive...)

Will be interesting to see how this works out.

And finally when the return of Bari is in sight, i lose Marichal to injury. Worst part is, Marichal was going to start in the upcomming NT game, so now i got to fill a hole there aswell :S

i better hope this is the last injury for me. Also, that injury will likely cost Marichal a few votes in the MVP voting and i was really hoping to have a good candidate for the MVP award this season. i had 2 candidates: Bari and Marichal. both will miss games and that often is costly in MVP voting :( but the title is more important than the MVP award, so better go for it with everything that i have left...
