When you start playing BuzzerBeater you are asked to complete 19 tasks. Add another task: ''Like or Follow BB''. The new user should either like the official BB page on Facebook or follow BB on twitter. Why not forcing the old users to also like or follow? It takes only one click for us and it advertises BB to every friend of ours...

Might be hard for people when they don´t use Twitter or Facebook... like me.


There are many good ideas how to make it more attractive to join the game and to stay in the game. We have the mentoring thing as well in the German community, but that requires newbies to find the BB-Forums, and the correct ones. But once new managers fínd a mentor, I think that´s the best way to keep them enjoying the game in a critical phase (establishing your team after the first month and until the training results lead to a better team).

For oldies like me, the best way to keep us in the game is - in my opinion - to make fundamental changes in the game engine. The minute distribution, the substitution patterns, the game engine at certain points within a game, especially in crunch time, is such a mess. I don´t follow games any longer, even if I have time. It´s just no fun. You don´t have the chance to set realistic lineups, you have (nearly) no options how to react in crunchtime. You have some totally broken tactics like Patient (totally unrealistic) or the ISO tactics that hardly ever work (and they NEVER work better than established ones like Motion, LI or Run´n´Gun).
The game itself is fun, because I like the slow pace of a text based desktop game, but there is a lot of room for improvement for the actual game engine.

Another thing that I don´t like is the communication between the BBs and the community, cause there is hardly any. BB-Marin shows up every now and then, others never. The news page is a mess, e.g.the welcome message with the changes for the season shows up after the first two league matches are played.

I think everything play a factor the biggest thing to me is the constant changes.. like taxes and etc.. 1 player training is better than training the whole team but it take whole balance team to win a hard game.(* this very long post)

I don't pay for the game, because why should honor a tax enforced game and player restriction forced game.. when I joined there was no tax. There was no tinkers in Sb and players Gameshape and stamina or player you can have... There was no guessing game to the tactic of the foes in the division before the game..

I think 1 player training has to be for all positions. every single skill for every single player... Why should I put a pg at center just to get inside shot.? I think this game is back wards. Team training should be the same as 1 Player training if not greater.. Thats my opinion. but anyone else can differ. If team training is less than 1 player then how is your team going to get better is this game not about balanced games? Look at the market you have bid on trainers.. to me this is a turn off also a waste of revenue. Bidding on every dang thing on the game,. its a huge turn off. Im not even going to get into the prices .

. Book marking a player means nothing with out some kind of BB app with the phone going off in notice a way. If I want a player from china then it on me to understand the time zone climate. You will be out bided every time because of time zones.

. Stop restricting players that can play for small ball club.

I think putting caps on team how much they can afford and who can play for them is foolish and wrong. Go back to cash in the bank. Its a managing game. Just because a small club pulled a kobe how does that effect the Nbaa?? It doesn't because they have a full team of kobe like players. it should be on who they trained. Did the Miami Heat train Lebron James?. Did the Lakers train Shaq or Wilt Chamberlayne to start.??. Let be realistic how many of the teams who won B3 or top league trained every single player??

Team bankruptcy should not mean team closure. The expensive players should just leave the team in sale of them and the manager is noted of this when is the red and closed the sale money goes to his red debt.. I think this were BB can do" what you can afford and player restrictions "all that jazz. Let it take place after team BR. It helps, it teaching the new player about budgets and balanced teams, it should not be a permenant thing for the life of the game maybe till they promote or 4 seasons.. Little notes in the Pm box about balanced team and tips in the mail box..

Restricting what you can do should be for bankrupted teams only. I have never been in debt since I joined the game. I have spent over 4 million in players just for fun. Why is the game all of sudden controlling my finances and my ways of play? I don't need it? Nothing is fair in sports. real or fake. Go play fifa14 or madden 15 or nba 2k14 they give out locker codes and now some kid got a Diamond Durant or Kobe, gold Barry Sanders or diamond Messi or Saurez. When some players are struggling with 60 rated team for a very long time , grinding hard trying to be better. So what should it matter if I have 5 million in the bank in assets and go buy a Michael Jordan in league 5 and likes to compete. I earned it and I can afford it. Right?? Oh because I haven't trained him .. that's absurd and unfair. Also a turn off

Its to many restrictions for no reason at all, for the sake of being fair.. I would have quit a long time ago, the 1st day they made taxes .I was going to call it quit because the game is not real life but its adding real life rules to restrict.. So I play for fun until im tired of BB which I think will be soon. To much drastic change to many restrictions.. They say it for man at the top with the money who tanks and out bid you..

(cont) The cold truth Is it not hard to make money on BB. Look at my team its awfuls but Im making 120k a game. It really easy to make money. It not hard to out bid some body if your in china either. Having 5 kobes don't mean anything if they don't know how to use them correctly.

Look at what happen to rome Rome. high taxes. lost freedom for restriction..?? That should be a wake up call. But its sad to some don't want get out the bed to answer that call.

Thats my take on BB.. They want fair ness but just going about it the wrong way. Shoving down people throat is not the way.

Yes there was. It's called a game plan. GDP is just extra on top of preparing correctly for your opponent.

Then there would be a game without 1-player training at all. And oops, you just broke your #1 rule. There aren't supposed to be any changes to the game.

There's no bidding on your posts. So it's not quite everything. Vegetables stuck in teeth, BO (body odor not base offense), and back hair are also turn offs.

Time zones and climate are 2 different things. Climate involves weather. You have an arena to keep out the weather.

lightly controlling.. Lol. Right. Look MY limit to afford is my bank account on BB, that how the game was made to start and that's how the game should be. Just because some manager was beating beat some in managing areas, Somebody went and cried to the GM, let brew up sum Nba rule on trading and selling, training youth and call it cheat prevention. Its a cowardly move.. a cop-out in my small opinion ruining player freedom.. If your whipped grow tougher skin. Don't go brew up sum smoke in a pot and call it magic soup. The game is left with smoke in a pot. I don't see any improvements. Money is still easy to get teams are still tanking.. Top team still making millions a season, same teams still dominating. So much for that.. but man in the bottom league god bless him because he going to need it because that where the quitting is.. I never been over the limits or in the red since been on the is game ,ever. Even when I two 70k a week players. I sold because I wanted too. Finances is never my problem.


I beg to differ ,nba teams have more le-way than BB. For starters there no restriction who a team can afford. A player can take any deal and ,ake a offer to team. KObe can play for the Charlottes bobcats if he wanted too, oh because the bob cats didn't train him ,he not welcome. oh because he want 20 million, that s a cop-out. kobe can say I want 10 mill . In BB we cant do that.

I don't want tax exemption. and I don't restriction. Some how some way a lop sided voted happen. Last time check the forums rolled with anger and all sudden lop sided vote for it. Its comical to me. This is why I play for fun.
