The main thing for any business plan is talking to people (like with ads).
If there is no communication, rumors arise. And rumors generate uncertainty and distrust.

I cannot understand how an Italian company, which are masters at selling anything, can make such novice mistakes.

I agree there, but I would think the mods or Gm would be up in arms on discord usage instead of here.. It doesn’t seem like they are effected by it , less work to do with empty forums and free compensation .. This can also be seen a cost cutting methods for the new owners, using outsource platforms like Discord.

I’m into my 1st month here and it’s hundreds to thousands of closed threads, that’s not good for business either. How it almost 4-1 in open to closed threads discussion.

That would be the reason to use discord until they get a proper plan together to transform the dialogue flow better or better staff to moderate these forum better. That what it looks like somewhat.

New business owners usually get their own people, to control dialogue.
