Sounds good, Wagner. I'm not seeing any issues.

This is the message I'd like you to check out for possible issues: (324689.606)

Looks comprehensive and accurate. Well done and thank you, Wagner. You have put considerable effort into setting up the HGL. Clearly we appointed the right manager as Commissioner.

In other news...

...my 7-player HG team had a nice upset win last Tuesday in our RL Game 1. Now, on my home court today, we are hoping to sweep them 2-0. It doesn't really matter whether we win or lose as there is no real relegation from Div III in Australia. However, it is nice to see my HG team starting their journey with an upset and possible sweep with only 7 players. I had to play my SF trainee, Taipan, at PG and have him defend their $70k SF, and he was up to the task. Hopefully he can do it again tonight.

I can't wait until next season!

EPIC Game 2 SF Battle as the Swan River Serpents Sweep Mighty Woefuls 2-0 (133714148)

An incredible 4th Quarter saw both SFs drop 19 points each just in the 4th in an absolute battle of wills. His $70k SF, with 41 seconds left in the game, reeled off 4 straight 3 pointers, finishing with 43 points.
And my $15k SF trainee (who I played at PG), hit 3s, sunk mid-range jumpers and clutch Free Throws in that 4th Quarter, finishing with 46 points!

Now, that was one of the coolest Relegation Games I've played in 50+ seasons!

Can't wait to get some big training into the Taipan before he caps...and see what he can become!

Thank you MrJ!
It is ready to be published then - yes, on the other, 2 official threads (which marks the time this organizing process actually starts).

Like I mentioned, this info post will be positioned as one of the top posts on both of these threads, at "Announcements" (which are 2nd on actual HGL thread, and 3rd post on HGL Scores-thread).

But first, question who anyone (who knows the answer) are very welcome to answer: is there some kind of time window, after which Pickup match challenges expire?
If there is, it might be necessary for me to send BBMail to each of us participants, to ensure all will notice the start of this match organizing window in time. If not, there is theoretically still plenty of time for managers to react by seeing posts on official threads, and here on this forum.

I wouldn't think they would expire. The only expirations seem to be games organised that aren't accepted.

Ok, well, we shall trust that then, and I will today publish that announcement on official HGL threads. :)

Yeah, I think so. Unless you want to wait a little longer to see if anyone else thinks differently?

Speaking of buzzer-manager.com and Pickup games, as you MrJ were mentioning about both in a same post a while ago (mentioning it doesn't recognize HGL as an official league)...
It doesn't seem like B-M would recognize PU games at all, as they are not visible in schedule.
It would be really cool to be able to search only PU games stats through B-M.
I actually tried to contact (supposedly the owner/staff of) buzzer-manager about completely another issue/suggestion a while ago through BB, but have received no reply.

So questions are these: are you guys aware if buzzer-manager.com is still being developed to some extent, and/or if someone has been able to contact owner/staff of B-M?

That's a good point, and actually a good idea to wait a bit longer to see if someone else spots any problems.

I have just come to trust the quality of your work so much, that it sometimes could even cause me to draw quick conclusions based only on your opinion. (Maybe being slightly pressed on time affects this, but still it's a good reminder). Having said that, I'm not suggesting you should lower your standards/work quality with regards to HGL, I like how things are right now... :)

I'm pretty sure BM has no work being done to it nor has it in years. I have used it for so many years and it has never changed or been updated. Which is fine as it is an excellent tool as is.

You flatter me. You have done an extraordinary amount of work to get this HGL up and ready, mate. I'm not organising my PU games just yet...but will do next week.
