Hi!

I have never used this topic, and i'm not mad because this game doesn't affect anything in this season (I will be the first of my conference and i won't have advantage to the first of the other conference).

However, i don´t understand how I lost this game, and I need help to change something to the finals.

I have the maximum attitude, so let's assume that he has the same attitude (maximum).

I have homecourt advantage.

How was this possible?

Teams using patient tends to give all jumpshots to one shooter. Situations, when final result doesn't match team stats, is actually usual - especially if the shooter wasn't guarded by defender with lots of outside defense.
If you are sure, that he will use the same pattern again, you may need to swap your SF in defense with PG or SG - whichever has a bigger outside defense. 3-2 may be also an option, if you're not afraid of his PF/C.

3) One-dimension team is weak,
especially for outside oriented teams. 3-2 and/or GDP can easily destroy those teams. Overall, this is a game based on some key fundamentals: Shots, Rebs and Defense. Outside teams need to ask themselves how to punish their opponents when those enemies have to use 3-2 and/or GDP to stop them. For PG/SG/SF, a good idea is to develop skills like DR/IS to make more driving layups. For PF/C, enough RB and IS is really important since outside players cannot afford enough RB when JS/JR has been high.

Above are just some personal experience and I look forward to hearing more inspirations.

Well, yeah, the fact that outside offenses are just inside offenses with a plus to outside shooting means if you want to score you have to score inside. I went 16 for 29 from 3 tonight and 15 for 49 from two, which means I made more threes on significantly fewer attempts than from twos.

That's why I also disagree with the 22js 15jr combo - If you want to get in the 35+ percent range, you'd be better off with higher JR. If you're allocating 37 skill points, I would prefer js 17, Jr 20, or else 18+19. But even then, you have to still be an inside team around these guys if you want any scoring, but ironically I am enjoying the effects of my SB development even more than I am dismayed by the pointless nature of outside offenses.

They should remove any penalty for rebounding for outside tactics or at least remove any penalty for defensive rebounding.

In any case I think 3 pointers now are ok-ish, it's the jump shots that are not so good, the baseline and top of the key shots and such. And yes, counter-intuitively open shots do not provide any evident boost to FG%.

If Marin managed to fiddle with 3FG% than maybe he can look into changing the baseline FG% for other kinds of shots. I am not sure he knows what to do in order to achieve that, because I suspect he did the 3FG% change in a roundabout way.

In any case, there must be coefficients and constants in the code that determine baseline FG% for each type of shot and that's surely where they should put their hands and start making small changes.

Just putting there two upsets from my league:
(101974741) - demolished despite big advantage in BB-stats
(101974743) - most of posters here will like that one, as Princeton manage to upset opponent by shutting his best shooter

conference finals im my last league for the last two seasons..can anyone explain how Tbilisi Dragons "manage" to show these kind of defence ratings when exactly the same roster (even the bench players) shows twice more of those defensive ratings against other teams, i.e. against my team.

is this an engine bug or how is it possible?

Different positions in the defense. In the playoff's game PG Ratkevics defended opponents PF, SG Berzinš defended opponents C, PF defended PG and C defended SG. It seems they don't have good seondary skills.
