At first it really looked like the Great 8 would be stronger, but I guess not.

Yeah, but one of the inactives is still the strongest team in the Division.

Big 8 seems more balanced, where as Great 8 is a little more top heavy. I think Big 8 has more "active in general" managers/passionate BB users, and based off total wins, Big 8 has 66 and Great 8 has 54 wins respectively up to this point in the season. But it was pretty balanced before this week. Not to say that some Great 8 teams aren't passionate.

A big difference is that a lot of the Big 8 teams are getting better as the season goes along, a lot of the Great 8 teams have seem to gotten worse (ie; gameshape, enthusiasm management, teams dropping out, etc.). I do still think Harlem Strikers or TO Knockouts could still be real strong competitors come playoff time.

Man, I got crunched by East Side Rangers. And he had the lead at the half.

There's a revolution feeling growing among the bad ranked teams ;)

Yeah, getting Crunched... tell me about it.

My only loses this season came from teams playing Normal or CT, when I TIE.

R.I.P. The Cheetarian and Royal Windsor. Someone in the Great 8 is getting a bye to the semis.

The current standings and playoff matchups are not out yet, so I'll say them here.
The team with the lower number on the left always gets home court advantage.
Big 8:
1. Ashcroft Xerocoles vs.
8. Toronto Assassins

2. Calgary Spitfires vs.
7. Grant Raptor
Rematches of the last game of the regular season

Great 8:
3. Toronto Knockouts vs.
6. Super Slam Dunk Thatll Make You Sore the Day After

4. Harlem Strikers vs.
5. Royal Windsor (bot)

Only one of the first round games is not a rematch of the last game of the regular season (SSD @ TKO).
