Shumpert will probably start at SG.
Prigioni can back up PG/SG.
World Peace might backup SG/SF until JR Smith gets back from knee surgery.
Carmelo will probably play 40 mins at SF.
Chandler, Bargnani and Amare will share minutes at PF/C. If one of these three get injured then they will be royally screwed and that will force Carmelo to play at PF again.

only against smaller teams. Melo can't defend the low block against the likes of Boozer, etc over the course of a game

MWP defend at PF just like Battier has been for Heat.

They really need to make him a starter, if not give him JR Smith-like minutes in every game.

So the new CBA was supposed to end "super teams" but
* the current champion has ADDED Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis to come off the bench
* Steve Nash goes to the Lakers without them losing a starter
* Brooklyn getting close to having a "big 4" of Williams, Johnson, Wallace and Dwight

This was the first post on this thread, how funny that Brooklyn post looks to us now :3

Ya who would've thought... KG and Pierce in a Nets jersey LOL

I think the FA has settled now...

Some low key teams that has the potential to make some noise will be Cleveland and New Orleans.

Well they are claiming they want to keep him and he and Howard can play together. But we all know that is a complete load of crock, and a hall of fame PF believes that as much as Gillard was a good PM. So with Asik on starter dollars they have to pump him up and bide their time, say everything is rosey, until someone offers them something decent and is in desperate need of a starting C. I'm sure once a contending team loses a starting C they will come calling as everyone in the world knows the rockets will look to move him eventually
