So we have decided to limit the number of courtside seats and luxury boxes in arenas. Courtside seat construction will be capped at 500 seats, and luxury boxes at 50. At the all-star break this year our builders will sneak in and tear down the excess seats in those few arenas which exceed this limit, refunding all the building costs to those teams. The caps will go into place immediately however on new construction not yet commenced. Also, we have also disabled the arena deconstruction option as was previously announced.

This is not what I understood from the T11 News.

Did you decide how to react to the problems this changes bring?

How a manager could react, to the new arena system without wasting time and money in building the wrong areas and falling back agiainst their opponents? I hope you won't make those fixed again in a new change, if that is the case please cancel it like the new engine and introduce it with a working concept(or not).

Will it gives a period to adjust the prices again?

is anything planned to give us a chanche to react on this silly change? Or is that your way to let individual arena contributions stay, in letting ten construct after a total different economic system.

The end of the month is close, and I would like to know if the cap for the courtside sead and luxury boxes will be applied as announced, because we have to adjust prices accordingly.
Although the News was clear, it was also clear that the cap was going to be applied for new constructions and it is not the case. That's why I would like to have this clarified.

Thanks.

and what are the possibilities to react on this system, like promised.

Or did we get those individual salary "reduction" the BB talked about, when saying that team income is unimportant because the economy is self regulating.

PS: making arena more realistic, the "name" of a categorys is the less unrealistic think - why are 5 rows courtside but not 6? The question is, why they cost more to build when they are the same seats but just closer to the court, how you could put 5000 extra seats into an already built arena etc.

I hope this is still going ahead because I just made an expansion today based on the fact that my courtside seats will be disappearing at the allstar break.

i agree with it, they missed the point, where they can reverse those silly change but a redesign chanche for the affected user would be fine(and that are lot more then affected, because the overall arena distribution plans could be changed, because many user could choose a higher amount of bleachers like me to get fast to the 20k and with fewer expensiv seats, you could had bin at those place with cheap places).

But this change is very bad and in my eyes, implemented without thinking about it.

Maybe a time to get the rigth ticket prices would be fine, also because you had to check out the possibilitys again under an other impression.

Maybe, but if they were going to make different plans I assume they would have announced them by now to give users a chance to react. Either that, or they need to allow users to deconstruct as they please until they decide where they are going with this.

anyway it would be nice to know when and how we gonna get the money, as i need to buy a big man and i would like to understand if i can count on an additional million to spend next week, or not.
i already asked that question twice in this thread, one of those being the very opening post, and never got an answer about the timing. nobody cared about me :(
i hope that the third time is the right one :)

I been reading this thread a long time now, without saying anything. I just had enough. How can you whine about this minor change? You are not even maxed out with your courside prices. Changing the price will give you exactly the same income -> maybe even more. Whenever any change comes people go for the most unrealistic things that they can imagine. Those things will be found and eventually get fixed. If players realized that the attendance "cap" is at 20k. People started to build more courtsides and luxury boxes -> eventually that would make 10000 courtside seats and 1000 luxury boxes. Leaving ~9000 places for those two cheaper prices seats. BB-s saw that trend happening so they wanted to stop it before it got out of hand. We can all agree that that kind of arena setup would be really bogus. Arenas are mostly made of bleachers and that's how it should be.
Now this change affects really small number of users. Yes they are all successful teams and powerful teams. Many of which are not actually affected (like you -> reasons: price change, income gathered from those seats while they were in effect + getting all the construction money back).
