And just for the sake of mentioning it, i've also asked for a review of the rule that might include prospects. problem with it tho is that if prospects are included in the advertising then it's going to open up advertising for all high potential drafts each season...

that would be easely abused.
who is going to judge if a youth is a prospect or not? if the U21 or NT managers judges he is, then he is, so any player could then be advertised...

the reason we alowed advertisement of U21 or NT players on the squad , is to prevent players who already made the cut, to go to waste.
Prospects didn't prove anything yet, there is so many factors that will lead to the prospect NOT being fit to enter the squad after all, so there is no reason to advertise them on the forums.
Per definition player advertisements on forums where forbidden a while ago. An exception was made for a select group of special players.
To alow it for a much bigger group of prospects is not what was intented.

i know that it's a dodgy thing, and that if prospects are included the zone wheither or not it's advertising seriously goes down. However, in some communities some GM's allow it if it's a prospect. If they maintain this rule, you should wonder: will those GM's react? i'm certain alot won't... and if that happens then an unfair balance is created. So whatever the rule is, it must be for everyone. Sticking to the rule could chase of guy's to external fora's... yet, if you include prospects, then their has to be a clear line draw some how, or we could end up with NT/U21 coaches advertising for old players who can't make the NT anymore, or don't have the potential...

anyhow, the BB's are talking about it, and it's futile to discuss it here. (got some stuff that still needs clearing out on mail)

that will be impossible. whichever rule or line one will come up with, there will be real prospects who will not make the group, and there will be non-prospects who will be in the group that can be advertised.

@Joe. I understand you are upset by that, but your reaction was wrong. You shot at someone who did his job, rather then at those not doing theirs. So that's why I neded to react.

Anyway. Higher staff is looking into it now, and we will hold to whatever they decide we should be doing from then on.
