Basically, because if I continue to be "competitive" it will only suck the value out of my team until I can't compete. The best example of what I'm saying is...

Got sick of tanking. Tanking sucks. Bleagh. Bought players. Going to win things. Won't win all the things. Will be sad. Bleagh.

If everyone played to be as competitive as they can every season, success would rely on training and tactics. But that's not how it is... The most effective tactic is to tank until you can buy your way to the top. There is nothing wrong with it except it means seasons of doing nothing while you save for your season to shine. If you can't win, don't waste money trying...

Best way to explain...

Johnson: No way to explain. He is just a boss... However he was at his best when there was no other players on my roster. Still always a consistent allstar considering he was competing against bigger and badder most of the time.

Reynolds: Was going to be my pf with unbelievable secondaries. When I got close to finished I thought I could turn him into a mini dell. At 6'11 it was just too hard to get his od up... Still a boss for his salary. Just wish I got to unleash him properly.

Braun: Simply a fill in. Had to replace my other pg who was injured.

Lynch: Would have been better if I didn't train him with Reynolds and Stacker. Could still make a hell of a guard.

Mundine: Didn't want him to d up outside, just dominate inside. However, his effectiveness decreased massively when I got fabang.

Fabang: Easily my favourite player. He was the player I dreamed of purchasing for my run at a title and I couldnt believe he was available. Far exceeded expectation.

Stacker: Drafted as a 19 year old and only kept him because I was training Reynolds. Never expected he would be runner up in a div2 mvp vote count... He has the same unexplainable traits as Johnson.

And as for leaving, that's not official. I'm only predicting I will get bored and leave. Selling the players I thought I never would has rejuvenated my possibilities to rebuild from scratch rather than around sentimental favourites... Plus giving me someone to blast will tide me over for a while! :P

I don't think Miami deserved that win. It was badly officiated. I've watched it a few times to make sure that I wasn't being biased. I don't really mind who wins, so I'm fairly impartial.

I don't think LeBron played that bad, just wasn't that "good". I guess, for him, that is bad...

well as u know i never really tanked

just built up the team slowly & resisted ever getting expensive big men & got the wins i could with $45k angel as my best big man & with a 19k arena the income was good

then when the time was right i basically just made 2 moves adding ofek & santos 2 what was already a fairly good roster

every season jw, adam & i were very close 2 each other & i was training like u while building the bank balance & getting ready, far from tanking

however the other 3 promotees 2 the abbl this season all have tanked yoda in 18, crockers in 17 and tremell 4 ever!

i wish i had the $ to buy fanbag he is such a good player im sure he would be great in the abbl

a couple of others r interesting as well...but i have 2 stay on target im saving up for the perfect big man stopper with colossal ID & SB but really low IS...but so far none in my price range

Lol, Miami's bench are providing quite a bit, especially in game 2 where LeBron and Wade weren't doing very well. The bench helped out a lot. And even though Rondo put up those big numbers we still got the win. In terms of reffing, I only noticed it in game 1.

And you are the exception to that rule, but your timing was ideal when you consider how many teams with the ability to contend where tanking. With at least 4 teams currently sitting on a small fortune, the days of slowly building are over in this league... I'll have well over 10mill by the end of next season, and even that will probably just be enough to be top 4. Just wish the last quarter of game 2 was like the first 3! :P

Absolutely right about the reffing. I was shocked... As I said, I watched it a few times to see if I wasn't being impartial. *shrugs* I'd prefer a Spurs v Celtics final than Heat, but as long as it's Spurs, I don't mind.
