How long do you think the economy will remain inflated?

'Till death do we part. Marin has deliberately made it this way in order to "reward training." I don't see him ever realizing it screwed up the game and changing it.

Why the hate on Marin. He is a developer. I doubt he calls all the shots of how the game should be in perspective

You can't comprehend that the people made the same money from tanking 6 seasons ago, nothing's changed there, yet it's the reason for inflation. You are shocked that even in the most inflated markets you can find some value, as if that was some kind of supernatural event. You are surprised that people do not behave rationally. I think you just don't have the mental ability to understand, you're kind of a serial offender nothing's get through to you. Now you even argued against someone who has given you a reasonable solution lol, as if the guy said to "if they aggressively remove the efficient builds, rather than aggressively save them"...you know, most people like you with limited understanding would not showcase their shortcomings.

Cause 1: Revise the fan survey. An established team (3+ seasons) who loses many games in a row should be hit much harder in its earnings. At the end of the season you should be losing money weekly even while being below the salary floor if you lost games all season. This is consistent with what happens in real life.

I'd just point out, as I did to the oaf from Japan, that tanking and high income in higher leagues isn't something new, it widely happened even 6-8 seasons ago when prices were rock bottom. People didn't get any new feature to increase their income beyond what they could achieve in the past. Therefore this could be an explanation for high prices, not for increasing prices, unless the argument is that many more managers have been tanking in the last 3-4 seasons compared to before.

Cause 2: I agree. Salary repricing would obviously work and SF in particular should be paid for what they are worth. Hakkinen had a 130k-140k salary with 158+ TSP. As long as high end players increase at least proportionally compared to the low end ones, it should not penalise training which was the main reason Marin wanted higher market prices by design. They just need to make sure this is properly advertised and it's clear that high TSP guys will be hit the most.

There are other factors that play a role. Taxes have had a pretty substantial effect in draining the already scant liquidity that the Transfer Market had. With fewer transactions, prices become more erratic and even the TPE becomes meaningless as you see extremely wide ranges.
Training was not really rewarded enough directly, so there will be no improvement in the supply of trained players on the market in the coming seasons. Incidentally raising salaries would reward training through the overextension tax (as it was meant to be).

look it's not like barking will make you any smarter, it doesn't work like that. You either understand on your own or you understand when it's explained to you. You can usually do neither, but maybe it's my fault for thinking I'm talking to an adult.

See it's stuff like the 6 seasons reference that tells me you haven't got a clue about what you're talking about. You said nothing about 6 seasons ago neither you can grasp its relevance, all you did was talking about the absolute numbers of today as if, by themselves, they matter to explain inflation.

And you go on arguing against them as if they said it would never rain again. You really do this.

Uhm, in your case I'd remove the "as if" and say "when", since most of your points are either not logically sound or simplistic at best.

I wonder if salaries will go down overall each season now. I wonder if aging player skill drops will outpace training.

Salary have been dropping for seasons, high salary players are a dying breed as pointed out by the thread about the top salary thread, you simplify (as usual) that's simply old players' reduction vs young players increase, when it's not, but at this point I think I'm wasting my breath.

Like I said I just hope you stop posting about me in conversations I am not a part of. If you must address me fine, but please leave any mention of me out of posts to other people. Show some decency. You creep me out and I don't like you. So leave me out of your conversations. Please?
