- Promotion/Demotion: I aggree it's too harsh 6 demotions.
If we want a change, 5 should be enough.
We can have :
8th : direction demotion
5th-6th-7th : PD (5-7, 6-6 with HCA to the best overall, 7-5)

Only one direct demotion, it is better for the fairness of the final standing and with this evolution more teams involded in PO/PD.

- Salary floor: Not right solution for the problem. Boycott is right way to do it! If someone is able to compete with very low salaries, he shouldn't be punished!

- Boycott: Finally!! Informing about this after season has started is NOT FAIR!!!
About the boycott others said the same thing and I think that's absolutely right: they should have announced it now or mid-season then implemented it next season. People who already sold or are in the process of rebuilding are now screwed (assuming the new rule kicks in at fairly low amount of savings).

Also someone has to explain to me why would I need to get the fans blaming me if, after I promote to D1, I spend 5 million for 2 starters and I'm left with 2 in the bank. With 2 million I cannot buy another starter, therefore getting the curve of the boycott drop % right (depending on the savings) is really crucial and, with Marin's history, we know things can get very wrong (the best news I have had from the game today is that A. they take shared decisions and B. Perpete was on a very sensible position based on common sense).

One team in each league is likely to win less than 3 games and even more 1 in each third of the season (whether they want that or not), so there's gonna be hundreds of people who will be affected and, while we know exactly how all other ingame taxes and penalties work, we don't have any detail of how this will work. This adds additional problems: if your gates halve maybe you're going to also pay overextension tax. If you need to decide between winning 1 league game or 1 cup game which one are you going to choose?

About the salary floor I think it's about right. Where it is now in the EBBL you probably can't do 300-400k profit a week, but it will still give you enough to rebuild (probably)

You can take our supporter compare box away, if you promise to truly listen to the concerns raised by people on the forums and discuss again among yourselves about whether some of the major changes can be tweaked to address some of those concerns while still serving the purpose for which you decided to implement them.

Sounds like you are saying supporter opinions "should" matter more?

Just clarifying if that's true or you are just frustrated?

Lol no Randy dude. I'm saying let's forget about this 'improvement' for supporters, which according to some is better than nothing eh, and focus on the serious stuff please.

You need to have played a little to understand the more general context. I'll give you 5 seasons: if you stick around, you'll come around too. Then we'll just need Wolph to come back and we'll have turned the tables haha. I've already seen a couple of guys complaining who have been always and I mean always defending the choices made by the staff.

Apologies for the Edit...

Cool.

My concern, is the excessive promotion/demotion. I like the idea... but, Think it could be done gradually to reach that point instead, so that the acclimation is not so drastic. When its combined with all the other changes its way excessive.

It's gone from no changes/minor changes each season, to Bam, major drastic changes all at once. Not entirely a good idea. You got to ease into these things. Firstly, lets see the impact of the floor changes and the Boycotting. Then slowly up the promotion. demotion so you can see how the changes effect it.

I see you're a returning user then. Well, I did think it was quite a lot of stuff to do simultaneously and some changes (boycott) aren't that clear either. So there is the very real possibility of another overshoot as a result of the various changes.

I voted for the draft, that's one thing I think most people will agree with.

my vote went to the newbie guide, I feel like that will cut down on some market idiocy we see, better training from new people, maybe better retention?

But, the draft change was a close 2nd for me, again, remains to be seen from implementation first though.

Agreed, newbie guide is probably overlooked, but very important.
