There is no way you can get a trainee 48 minutes, while blowing someone out, with 10 players listed for the game (with no injuries occuring). That is a fact!

You guys are missing the point!

I know you can't garantee a player 48 min with 10 players listed. In know that the only way to garantee a player gets 48 minutes in a game is to:

1. set them as STARTER / BACKUP / RESERVE;
2. ensure there are NO players left without an assigned position;
3. ensure that the 'Strictly follow depth chart' is selected

HOWEVER, (and this is my complaint) I DIDN'T ORIGINALLY SET 10 PLAYERS!!! BB somehow altered my preset lineup. I ORIGINALLY SET 9 PLAYERS HENCE I WOULD HAVE GOT MY TRAINEE 48 MINUTES DESPITE THE BLOWOUT! THIS IS MY WHOLE COMPLAINT. THE PLAYERS THAT PLAYED (yes, 10 off them) WEREN'T WHAT I HAD ORIGINALL LISTED.

Guys, just let it go...

I've understood what you were saying. The problem lies in the data, which shows the exact lineup that played. I don't have any proof that you were wronged so there's nothing I can do, and I see that you understand that (hence your pleas to stop the discussion of the issue).

Why that??? (48841727)
I had the following starting roster (8 players listed):

PG Knoche EMPTY EMPTY
SG Lazzarro EMPTY EMPTY
SF Hertz EMPTY Darghal
PF Loser EMPTY Canudas
C Ammann EMPTY Fourmy

After 35 Minutes of play PG Knoche (no foul problem, no injury) was replaced by Canudas. He played for a about 10 minutes!!!!!! Then he got replaced by starter PG Knoche again.... W.t.F!!!!!!
How am I supposed to get this minutes managing working with stuff like this, or am I completely wrong?

Thanks for help!

For what you want, you would want:
PG Knoche Knoche Knoche
SG Lazarro Lazarro Lazarro
SF Hertz Darghal Darghal
PF Loser Canudas Canudas
C Ammann Fourmy Fourmy

Leaving the empty spots in the positions you want to train is sure to lead to substitutions when you get to a blowout, while making sure that everyone in the lineup is either a starter or a backup (not just a reserve) helps minimize it. Even still, you get guys who substitute out because they're just worn out or because when the coach brings in the subs, one of the other starters is shooting free throws. But you'll usually get at least 46 and frequently 48+ if you set the lineup as above.

That's not right. It appears he wants

SF Hertz  Hertz  Darghal
PF Loser Loser Canudas
C Ammann Ammann Fourmy

In his particular case (a blowout), this guarantees that the reserve players will get as close to 12 minutes as possible (otherwise they'll likely be closer to 20.

That may well also work. I personally don't play a player strictly as a reserve in any position because I remember hearing that if a player is not a starter or a backup, he might get substituted into another position instead. But I'm just as likely wrong there since I don't risk it personally.
