Well, the Mashers blew out Ozark, but not enough to cover. Bummer for everyone. But mainly, bummer for the Cresleys and Updog who are now out of cash. Sorry boys.

Also, my apologies to East Gary and the Lengends for not noticing you guys were on TV too. Not sure how I missed that. You also managed to have the only close game of the weekend.

This week's game is tough for me to predict again. We've got two teams that are constantly mixing up their tactics and effort, so the predictability of how they'll play is pretty tough. They're average point differential is only seperated by 2.5 points, and they both currently sit at 2-3 (interestingly, both wins for both teams come against the Door Mats and BAT).

2 Left Feet has the homecourt, and a significant average rating advantage. On paper, i think they've got the better roster. The problem here is that the Cresley's are known for not fearing a CT. Given it's an away TV game, this wouldn't be a terrible game to through out that kind of effort. A CT could completely change the dynamic of this game.

However, I can't really a spread assuming someone uses a CT. Not to mention, it's not crazy to think the 2 Left Feet would do it as well, putting them at equal effort. So...

2 Left Feet -10

I'm going $100 on 2 Left Feet. Someday, I'll be bold enough to make a big bet...

Although, wouldn't it be kind of shady if I set the line, and then bet big one way? Haha.

I'm going to post Saturday's spread tomorrow because what happens in the Cup matchup tonight will tell a lot about who has the advantage on Saturday.

Stay tuned.

Alright, we've got another good one tomorrow. Updog @ Lake Charles.

Last season, I probably would have said Updog -12 or so, but this season has been different. Updog is struggling early on, and Lake Charles just blasted me and took down a tough D3 opponent in the cup last night. The average rating comparison gives a slight edge to Updog (6.6 vs 6.4). Salaries are pretty even, with both teams bringing a lot of depth to the table. Both team's game shape looks pretty good today, maybe a slight edge to Lake Charles. Home court goes to Lake Charles. Their power rankings are almost exactly the same (-3.63 vs -3.66) with a ever so slight advantage to Lake Charles.

This is very tough. We should get people on both sides of the coin, but I've got to make the decision somehow.

Lake Charles -2
