Maybe they could do a "2nd world" option that is not country based and is opt-in or by invite only. It'd be similar to a PL but it would have divisions and you could go up and down the divisions.

Even NPOs need to make a profit, just think about it.

Imo this game could be a gold mine as the competition is really weak and still lightyears behind. But my guess is that rocketscientists and coders might not be the best salespeople.

I am sure I read somewhere that this game was just a fun project of the BBs while they were at College but when they left and went to real jobs they passed it over to others. I did the same thing, a group of four of us made an online game a bit like Masters of Orion (if anyone remembers it) many years ago. We spent ages on it but when we all leftand some of us got really well paying jobs (one guy ended up working for NASA!) then our little project died. In the end we probably made $10,000 from it, peanuts for thousands of hours work especially for guys (not me) that make $300,000 a year.

What I don't understand is seeing as this is an international game why they can't hire some BBs from India, Nigeria or Khazakstan that they can pay five dollars an hour, and get them to do some work on some of the non-core areas of the game. Leave the game engine stuff to BB-Marin but the extra guys could be working on the draft, scouting, forum structures, stats, supporter features etc that could make the game a bit broarder.

First girl I asked out told me to get lost, but I didn't give in and eventually I dated an incredibly hot lingerie model. I tried to make my University team but was rejected however evntually played for Australia. I think giving in because they tried it once and it dodn't work is weak.

Do you think the owners of any major corporations in which you spend your money every single day in real life do any actual real work in the company? Steve Jobs was probably the last of those. I don't blame anyone for sitting back and collecting the royalties from their creations, however like you I do hope that they will continue to improve it.

Thats a bad example.

You are comparing major companies that got armies of workers and a handful of top paid owners/managers with BB that has one/two developers and a handful of owners.

Wolph is right, the original creators dont care. Remember the BB that went bot?

BBs should name their price and hand over the game people who care.
