What is in play is those damn dirty apes that ignore Mutual TIE Requests.

I really hope that you are not so serious as your post. Could you please tell me why somebody HAS to answer to your message?

Ignoring Mutual Tie Requests is such a big problem that it was probably even forseen by the BB's in the development of the game and that's probably why today we can't mutually TIE our scrimmages.

Imagine how beautiful it would have been? And we are missing on all that fun...

If i remember well, you had an answer on your request on mutual TIE on the world cup semifinal.

Ummm, have you even ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation? And don't say you don't listen to rap music.

Dead on! What a load of s... to even put this up as a problem.

Then you also probably feel homelessness and world hunger are not a problem. Offering a mutual-tie is like offering shelter to a homeless man, or bread to a hungry woman and her child.

If we can not agree to help each other, then the worst is true and we have already become devolved animals.

I must be a very cruel individual then, I never agreed to a mutual TIE request, nor do I plan to.

Thing is that at times I actually played TIE even after the request, but I told him that I don't make such arrangements.

Where did the sportsmanship go?

We've probably all passed by a random homeless man on the street, begging for change. There's so many, and what if they spend it on alcohol?! Well, that's what hope and trust are for.

Similarly, mutual-tie ignoring is a mountain of a problem. But, I swear, as long as I refuse to accept that nothing will change, the longer my hands remain with opposable thumbs.

This is the funniest thread ever! The only problem is that it was not intended to be a joke.

Really don;t see any problem though. If you are proposing something the other person has to accept it. If he does not reply to a mutual TIE it is safe to assume that he is not interested. Simple as that.

It is a joke--only the people who have only 2 brain cells to rub together are taking it seriously. I know it's a joke, and I know for a fact the people who started this thread is laughing AT every single tool that is taking any of this seriously.

I am laughing at them, too, and I only have 3 brain cells to rub together.

Just say no to bitchassedness!

This thread is quite hilarous. What makes it so funny is the fact that several people are taking it so serously. At the risk of peeing on Stogey's parade, let me explain what's going on here.

Stogey's Bulls, in preparation for their upcoming BBB game, planned on TIE'ing their game against Nth_Mlb_Giants (and people make fun of my team name). In an effort to have a chance to win the game, Stogey contacts Nth's manager in an attempt to arrange a mutual tie. Nth (obviously still smarting from their loss in the previous game to a team with an extremely physically attractive GM) decide to either ignore/not respond to the request.

Result: NTH runs normal to Stogey's TIE and beats them by 40 and causes Waggyrob immediately becomes my 2nd favorite GM in buzzerbeater (by not only beating the team immediately behind me in the standings, but by hanging a -40 point differential on them. Suck on THAT, Stogey!)

This results in the creation of the current thread that is a slightly veiled shot of the silly enthusiasm system that Buzzerbeater continues to employ.

The thoughts on enthusiasm of the main protagonists (antagonists?) of this thread can be seen here (12303.1) . I agree with the general concept of this thread, but don't agree to the point that I want to put so much enthusiasm in that my next agreement will be affected.

With that said, I need to go give my team instructions for the next game. I am going to tell my team to play hard, but not too hard, in their next game. I just hope that my opponent will not tell his team to play really hard and not just regular hard so that my team can have a chance of winning.

My apoligies to everyone if the preceding 2 paragraphs are too subtle for people to realize that I am mocking the enthusiasm system myself.
