HAs request for the playing schedule for season 19.

For the first game of the season HA requests to play hosts at Swan Park to either Whitebeard or WA is a Dump.

The reality check of the loss will quickly erode any dillussions of greatness and encourage me to sell down the roster to a more financially sustainable lineup

I am in the ABBL.
I am in the ABBL.
I am in the ABBL.

I just want to say it while I can.

The draft is out with total...disappointment. Best player in the entire draft is a perennial allstar.

Sakib Ahmed (24058190)
Center
Owner: Chelsea Seagulls
Weekly salary: $ 4 154
Age: 18
Height: 7'0" / 213 cm
Potential: perennial allstar

or

Sun Xiangjun (24058185)
Center
Owner: Kynlala Knights
Weekly salary: $ 4 017
Height: 6'10" / 208 cm
Potential: perennial allstar

Here is the third best.

Royce Radcliffe (24058181)
Point Guard
Owner: Hadders Heros
Weekly salary: $ 5 122
Age: 18
Height: 6'4" / 193 cm
Potential: allstar

See anyone there you can turn into a franchise player?

Not really franchise but might be good back up for DFBS. I'd say Royce Raddiffe.

Yo! Yo! D for D best PF in D Aussie BB. D Name is Kye Duffill (10080211), averages nothing but pure amazing! Vote for Duffman!

Well done on getting Cranshaw i was sniffing around there as well but decided to restructure my bigs first and then worry about my guards a bit later.

Good to see him on aussie shores!

Do you think the BB-gods are trying to "balance" the game by creating less high potential players?

- many people have been whining about teams with super high total salaries

having a pool with more low potential players would lower the pool of high salaries players in the long run and thus create some sort of a salary cap that some managers have asked for.

hmm... does that make sense?

or would it be just some kind of a "bad season" and next season could feature 3 HoF in the same draft?

ABBL drafts have always sucked unfortunately. Generally have to look to the lower divisions to find the good rookies.

indeed...it find it cheaper to just buy a trainee than to spend so much money on the draft and get a crappy player

Well you and Direwolf will never get a good rookie cos you guys never get the first three picks. There are only ever two or three good rookies (be lucky to even get one good one in the abbl lately) per draft.

There is a good chance in season 19's abbl draft though with team smelts going bot. So even with the second or third pick you can get a steal. So start tanking boys!

Common show us the season schedule already so we can start the game of politics err I mean BB. LOL

I didn't mean my picks, it's a bonus most of the time if i get someone who isn't a 19 year old bench warmer. The ABBL draft overall is usually pretty crappy and it's rare there will be any keepers worth training at all. I'm not complaining, makes sense that the good picks should go to lower divisions but wouldn't mind the ABBL draft being a little bit more interesting.

Bleh...! As expected the draft is normally quite ordinary in ABBL. Interesting enough I got my first 3 preferences without changing the order. They must have been bad. I guess I should start with #48 next time.
