I think there was a recent change but I just can't remember. I think 5th pay something now. Playoff and relegation money is now split 50-50 so you pay full wages but maybe only get 1/2 a weeks income if you come 4th and lose.

so, is anyone spending scouting money this season? league avg would suggest just over half have been investing in scouting

I can safely and honestly say no.

I have a season's worth of scouting points saved from last season and I will not be using them. :-)

I've never seen an MVP come from a team outside the top four, so I'd be pretty surprised if Kalani did win it.
