OFFICIAL FIBA STATEMENT CLEARS AUSSIE PLAYERS ON MATCH vs TAIWAN

FIBA has cleared 2 Australian players of any wrong doing following allegations of them pretending to be Taiwan players minutes before the match. The clearance comes hours before the crucial semi final match against Singapore, with a place in the season 31 World Cup at stake.

Australian coaching staff were wrapped with the result, but were unable to find the pair to enlighten them of the news. One might suggest looking in the Singapore changerooms for them...

World Cup secured for Season 31
Boxscore: (32730)
Australia has officially qualified for its 2nd consecutive World Cup after defeating Singapore at their home court in the Semi Final of the Continental Champs. In a low scoring affair, defense was the word of the night with both teams going on shut downs of their opposition for long stretches. The Aussies were able to counter the dry stretches with a few hot streaks, and kept the shooting percentages to a reasonable 46%, although they were out rebounded 38-46, keeping the Singapore team in the game longer than they potentially should have been.

MVPs
3 votes- Cortez Ryan scoring 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 FT), 9 boards, 2 assists in 38mins.
2 votes- Jim Hamburger scoring 14 points (6-17 FG, 2-2 FT), 3 boards, 3 steals in 39 mins.
1 vote- Cadeo Phan scoring 10 points (5-11 FG), 9 boards, one steal, one block, and one assist in 36 mins.

The final of the Asian Champs is against a very in form and undefeated China on Monday Night, 6pm AWT.

Congratulations to all managers on achieving so highly his season. The game shapes have been very well kept, highlighted by this week in which we have 7 players in proficient! Great job team!

I suspect that a certain South American national team manager is going to get sacked for that 'atrocious' display...
