How high does a SF's shooting have to be to hit a decent pct?

I think there might be a FCP bug.

I don't think so; FCP can be a great tactic. In my old league, it was the preferred tactic of about a third of the teams. I used to use it a lot too. It depresses several of the team ratings, though, so they're much less useful in analyzing a game when one of the teams calls fcp. You lost because his PG ate your backup for lunch after Figueiredo got injured, and because you turned the ball over 30 times. You also missed 14 free throws.

Yeah the free throws stuck out, as always for my team (two starters with atrocious FT). I didn't see that Figgy got hurt, but that makes sense now why he played so little.

I don't understand how I could turn it over so much though, my overall team handling is excellent.

30 is not too unusual in my experience with fcp.

One other thing about this match: you were the first team to face Pinny since they bought Apolinarijus Dešins (4258455), who looks like a huge upgrade over all of their existing big men. I'd say KDB, the Auerbachs, and DfC lucked out, getting to play them before they had finished assembling their season 9 team. The Auerbachs especially, got their visit to the Paralyzer Arena out of the way.

I personally don't agree with you. I think the GE is buggy and it's going to be because some of the results this season don't make sense. I think if it was the Season 8 engine, that game is a different story and to think the next time I face these teams in the second half, there will be no continuity between the results. That said I may of benefited from the same GE against the giants, but I am seeing more how did that happen more this season then ever before.

This is meant in no disrespect to anyone. Pinny is a solid team that earned the right to be in the top division in the US as did each one of the teams who WON their Division II to get here. I am frustrated to think I won't see the same teams (different GE in the second half) and in future seasons (Season 10 will be changed even more).

Point of inquire mike, you mentioned your division had FCP littered throughout your division (heck I was bored and look through some previous matches). I am assuming you meant Pinny's division and not yours. You came from the 10th ave division right? The same one that had DFC, SS and Myopic. Those 3 teams aren't the FCP types. Again curiosity from trolling the forums prior to a Cup match I am probably going to lose.

The FCP-crazy division that I was talking about was III.9. Here's a game with 61 turnovers, (4249020). I think I played in a few with over 50, too.

From what I understand from the news, the Pinny-Bulls game was played with the season 8 game engine, which is, afaik, essentially the same as the one used in the season 5 game that I linked to. I agree with you, I think changing the GE mid-season is a bad idea, and I wish they weren't doing it.
