I think my ratings are not so bad and in addition the opponent is max 2 weeks old. Away match, TIE, but nevertheless frustrating. No big affair, though.

Edit: 3 overtimes, exiting it was.

I challenge ANYONE to explain to me how I lost this game (2238466)

He didn't win ANY of the rating categories or ANY of the position matchups. Of course I'm not mad at him, but how the hell could I lose a match with this big of an advantage?

At the risk of oversimplifying; he hit more 3pt FGs than you did. Combine that with some random factor.

The fact is that no one really understands exactly how match ratings are calculated, either. We have suggestions from the rules, and we can track our own team's progress after training and transfers.

However, I've yet to see anyone on these forums definitively state how the ratings on the boxscore relate to the players playing the game and their time on the court .

1-2 sub-levels is not exactly dominating a category. As a consequence, they really don't guarantee you anything. Tough luck, but not exactly unexpected.
