He could have got a cheaper guy if he wasnt Canadian. I got Leal for just over 1M. But then again, Gaudreault is Canadian, and he is pretty damn good :P
I was surprised that he still got a pop last week at age 30.

Thanks. I am pretty happy to have negotiated a deal on this player. He is Canadian and a hell of a SF with a very low salary for his skill level.

I know I overpaid a bit but don't think I could have got a player of his quality for much less. Perhaps a 300k savings for a non Canadian but not more than that.
For a change I have been watching the market quite closely.
Now I just need to get him on the NT to help pay his wage :)

I think you payed a fair price , for 2.2 i would have bought him at 2.2 but when i was looking at him he was at 3.2 - 3.5 mil
