I have suggested that simply playing in games should have an effect on stamina.

There could be some target level such as 64 minutes equals strong, 56 respectable, 48 average, 40 mediocre, 32 inept, 24 awful, 16 pitiful, 8 atrocious.

Playing that many minutes in a week would cause stamina to change some % (10%?) towards the target level. However, a player who plays above 48 minutes would never lose stamina.

Someone who was at average stamina and was injured for 7 weeks, and then played 48 minutes for 7 weeks would lose more than he would recover, but at least it wouldn't be a case of having to train stamina for the one player.

The announcement suggests that there will be a difference between playing 45 minutes and playing 0 minutes due to injury.

"5) Stamina will now decrease during weeks when a player plays too few minutes and during injuries, so as to encourage teams to regularly train it rather than just doing so once."

about tjhe free agents, in the first anouncement it says that NT Players would become Free Agents, however i know one in portugal who did not...his team become a bot today.

I don't think the announcement said that:

1) When players with salaries greater than $4500/week are on teams that due to inactivity/ban/etc. become bot teams, those players will be released to the transfer list and will stay in the game. The salary threshhold will increase over time. This is the only change that will take place immediately.

I did read one of the BB's saying that NT players would be included. The new threshold appears to be above $5500.

If an NT player is on a team that goes bot, and doesn't meet the threshold, then the coach needs to request that the player is released.

I'm confused - I thought you said that he hadn't been listed.

There may be a bug in that NT players who are on sale don't have any indication that they are NT players, but this will show up as soon as a sale closes.

So if you are looking through the Portugal NT roster, you can see a player who is for sale - but if you were searching the TL you wouldn't know that a player was on the NT.

In time for the cup or the next league match?

Never mind, training is on Thursday after matches so I think I have my answer.
