i dont think its him that is selling him as he only has guards for sale at a quick look and no 18yr old bigs so i think he was talking about another team

Like I said, this is probably the thing that need to be consider in the decision of who to sell, and who to train

Now I am not a single position trainer, + I am more of a balanced skills trainer.
Also, I am aware that if any of the two is U20 potential, then I should better off release him to someone who can maximise his potential. One last consideration is the price I will get for them, I don't think i have seen many 7'2" Centre around....

I don't train for guards or forward, I train them across all skills, so most of my player will be quite evenly balanced, with the skill difference coming from the initial difference.

I am definitely not a U21 trainer, so if the Centre worth a lot, and is a rare beast, then i will sell him...

Looks like you've answered your own question then. ;)

The C looks like he might be worth a bit on the transfer list...

That C is a monster. You should get a nice penny for him.

i reckon he is limited by potential to be dominant inside and with that height might be hard to get some guard training in him even though his guard skills aren't bad (besides JS and pass).

If you want to train him then go with ID training and IS training with some reb. If you want in scrimmages play him as a PG and train passing otherwise he will be TO prone and its better to do it now before he caps. I don't think passing is affected by height but im not sure. With the new training system lets hope you will see pops in secondary skills.

Passing is strongly affected by height. That player has weak starting skills and low porential. You would be training him for emotional reasons not logical ones. If you do decide to go against logic and train him anyway at least he will train very fast and as an all-star you should be able to get all primaries up to tremendous which would make him useful to your team forever as long as you never bother with the secondaries. You cannot afford secondaries with his low potential.
