I agree, but it was always going to be next to impossible to qualify, looking at the teams we were facing, we would need extraordinary game shape our side. At the beginning of the season we expected a 3-4 result. Anything better than this was a result for us.

Thanks mate,

The game had a hiccup start for us, but our lads soon made up for it and pulled the game around. We had slightly more depth although they had a comparative lineup, perhaps even slightly stronger. The choice to normal was a good call and sets us up against the easier 3 teams in this division. We were always going to be relying upon results falling our way in the other games as we aren't one of the bigger teams and as such have to fight for each game.

Overall we did a very solid job, players all did their bit and we came away with another touch and go win. So far this season we were expecting to be 0-4 down. We are 2-2 and have the 3 weaker teams in the division to go now. Next is Scotland who ritually CT us so that will be a challenge and of course we must not take teams for granted. We must continue to work hard on gameshape and training. Doing ok so far chaps, lets see how many more surprises we can chalk up this season

Hi Friend

Your victory was clean as water
When you put Ryan Duguid in the F Position your Inside Scoring increase a lot and my guys could,t stop them.

Best of luck in the rest of the tournament

These days i looked to your foruns and seems that you are a very close community so i think the future is bright to your U21 Team

See You

Yeah I suspect more than a few people will root for Portugal in the last 3 games

Sound victory against the Scots,

An underpowered team and there was no way we were going to lose this game however, we wanted to get a 30+ PD from it and we achieved what we wanted, Ukraine beat Israel and Russia beat Portugal. This leaves us in an interesting positon, we need Israel and Ukraine to lose a game each, then it is just down to points.
