But its also important that its not too easy. Where is the challenge in just selecting from a drop down box? Or just selecting players to receive training?

At least with the current system training players is an actual challenge. It shouldn't be a given that every manager can 100% train any player they want at any skill without doing anything. Theres no competition in that.

And that is the usual reply to my point about reforming training. Nobody says it should be easy. Nobody says it should be child's play. Training needs reform so badly that people have to make things up in order to try to say otherwise. See?

For what its worth I agree that training could do with being updated somehow but i think if its done it shouldn't be made easy. There has to be a challenge.

I would like to see more available higher level trainers and think it would help many issues short term.

hey guys, i am following this treat for a while and I think i read the most the substantial posts, especially about training. I thought about an option that might be a compromise.

i) it doesn't change the training system completely
ii) it doesn't make training easy
iii) it allows to train in higher, competitive leagues
iv) it is more realistic and you can see the improvement of your trainee and follow his development.
v) you don't have to train "too far out of position"
vi) all players get better a little bit every off season (training camp)

just have a look and tell me what you think -> (278239.1)
